Yolanda Hadid Headed For The Big Apple? Former ‘RHOBH’ Star In Talks To Join The ‘Real Housewives of New York’

Yolanda Hadid’s days with the Real Housewives might not be over. The former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star is currently vacationing in New York and could become part of Bravo’s hit reality show once again.

Will Hadid land a spot on the Real Housewives of New York? An inside source told OK Magazine that Hadid is actively trying to join RHONY and “is a huge fan of the NYC ladies.” “She’s been in talks with Bravo for a few weeks about making the transition from Beverly Hills,” the insider continued.

However, producers are concerned that Hadid will not fit in with the rest of the cast.

After all, Hadid is known for having a relaxed personality while the ladies on RHONY have loud, blunt, and bold personalities. Of course, adding someone like Hadid to the mix could change things up in a good way.

“Bravo is considering the move because it could boost ratings and bring a new story line on board,” the source shared.

The biggest question for Hadid is whether or not she is healthy enough to be a part of the reality franchise again. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Hadid is working hard to regain her health and is using a “Master Cleanse” to battle Lyme disease.

“#HealthIsYourWealth #MasterCleanse #Lemons,” Hadid shared on Instagram, later adding, “When life gives you lemons, you use them…”

As fans will recall, Hadid left the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills because of her health and need for more privacy.

“I would have loved a more graceful exit [than] Season 6 but sometimes we don’t get to control the ending of the chapters in our life,” she wrote on Instagram. “I believe that every exit is a new entry and with that in mind I say goodbye to my @Bravotv Family as I continue to focus on my recovery, my children and bring back the privacy within our Home.”

Along with Hadid’s health issues, the reality star also went through a heartbreaking divorce from David Foster. A divorce that she told Andy Cohen completely blind-sided her. “Yeah, I didn’t think that was the end of the road,” she admitted. “I would have hoped to wait until I got 100 percent well.”

“Unfortunately, it was not strong enough to withstand the circumstances that came our way,” Yolanda continued. “Chronic long term illness is extremely challenging, not only for the person that’s sick but also for the caregiver. It for sure changed the dynamic of our relationship.”

Shortly after announcing her emotional departure, E! Online reportED that the network released their own statement thanking Yolanda Hadid for her time on the show.

“Yolanda was a great addition to the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” the statement read. “Along with our viewers, we have enjoyed and appreciated Yolanda sharing her life events, especially more recently as she struggled with Lyme disease. We now respect her decision to focus on her health and family. We wish her a full recovery and hope to see her again sometime on the show.”

Clearly, Hadid left on good terms with Bravo, which makes her return all the more promising.

This would not be the first time a former cast member has made a cameo down the road.

Camille Grammer, Adrienne Maloof, Taylor Armstrong, Brandi Glanville, and Kim Richards have all returned to RHOBH after exiting as full-time cast members.

Now, Hadid’s return to RHOBH is unlikely, especially after the way her final appearance on the series played out. According to AOL, Hadid stormed off set during the RHOBH reunion.

Hadid got emotional as topics of her divorce and health were brought up during the reunion. She had enough after Lisa Rinna and Lisa Vanderpump started to argue about Hadid’s health and their part in the rumors.

Both women expressed the possibility that Hadid did not have Lyme disease during the season. At one point, Rinna read the signs and symptoms of Munchausen Syndrome to her fellow cast mates, Kyle Richards and Vanderpump.

Given Hadid’s strained relationship with the women on RHOBH, her chances of returning to the show are slim. However, an appearance on the future season of RHONY might become a reality for Hadid, as long as her health is up for the challenge.

The current season of the Real Housewives of New York airs Wednesday nights on Bravo.
