Sonja Morgan admits that she made a mistake when it comes to her business, Tipsy Girl, and Bethenny Frankel. Morgan was working with people outside of the Real Housewives of New York to create a brand. Sonja was to be the face of the brand, while some of her friends would be running the business. Morgan didn’t see a problem in the business being called Tipsy Girl, even though it was so close to Skinnygirl, Bethenny Frankel’s successful brand. During the first couple of episodes, Bethenny was angry with Morgan and she hinted that she was done with her friendship with Sonja. But it sounds like things have changed.
According to a new Bravo report, Sonja Morgan is now revealing that she made a mistake with Frankel. Morgan now realizes that she should have been more open and honest about her business venture, so she could keep Bethenny supportive rather than risk her friendship with her. Morgan reveals that she should have sat Bethenny down and explained the situation to her.

“I should have let her know. I thought she was coming to my birthday party because she had not RSVP’d no,” Sonja Morgan revealed during the interview, adding, “That’s what blew up in my face, and I felt really bad.”
Morgan’s brand, Tipsy Girl, is not only a line of booze. While Bethenny’s business is about a healthy lifestyle, including alcohol, drinks, snacks and even workout gear, Morgan’s Tipsy Girl brand will go in a different direction — the restaurant industry. And she’s excited that her restaurant will open in New York City very soon.

“The restaurant is going to open any day now,” Sonja told Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live.
As for Sonja Morgan’s friendship with Frankel, it sounds like things have changed. The two talked about what went wrong between them and it sounds like it was an emotional response rather than a professional one.

“And I think now Bethenny realized it was more of an emotional response between two friends and she felt blindsided and I hadn’t seen her all summer. I was taken up with my daughter and getting her ready for boarding school,” Sonja revealed during the interview, adding, “We’re cool now. She’s very supportive of me.”
It’s very interesting that Bethenny is now supportive of Morgan, as she had some harsh words for Sonja when she learned of the cheater brand. On the show, Frankel revealed that she never wanted to see Sonja again, which was heartbreaking for Morgan. And in her blog, Frankel revealed that she couldn’t take Morgan’s business seriously.

“Sonja has had: an event company, a jewelry line, toaster, Nigerian football team, fashion line, and now a Prosecco–none of which have come to fruition. It is laughable but more sad. Women, this is not how it works. This is the problem when being a reality star is your actual job versus having a career the show follows. People create imaginary businesses to stay relevant,” the Skinnygirl business owner wrote about Sonja Morgan’s business plans, according to Bravo.
Frankel hasn’t said much about their feud, as she’s been focusing on her business, her daughter and more recently, the drama about Luann de Lesseps. Bethenny learned that Thomas D’Agostino cheated on Luann just 48 hours before their engagement party and she had a picture to prove his infidelity. This will play out on Wednesday’s episode of The Real Housewives of New York. So, it is great for Morgan that she has worked out her issues with Frankel, as she has plenty of other things going on in her life.
What do you think of Sonja Morgan’s comments about her feud with Bethenny? Are you surprised that they are getting along these days?
