‘The Bachelor’ Star Juan Pablo Galavis Finds Love With TV Host Who Reminds Him of Himself

Juan Pablo Galavis has finally found love — but will he say the word? The former Bachelor star is in a relationship with Venezuelan model and TV host Osmariel Villalobos. Galavis, who made headlines as one of the most controversial Bachelor stars of all time, told People that his new girlfriend is a female version of himself!

Galavis first met Villalobos after a mutual friend showed him her photo, and he started following her on Instagram. Juan Pablo said after he commented on a video that Osmariel posted, she replied to him and they began a text exchange.

Juan Pablo said that he has a lot in common with his new lady — including a zodiac sign.

“Her birthday is August 2, which is three days before mine. We’re so much alike. She’s like a female version of me – the Juan Pablo that people know personally, not the TV one!”

Galavis went on to say that his new girlfriend is “very family-oriented,” which is a good thing considering he’s a single dad to a seven-year-old daughter, Camila. Juan Pablo and Osmariel also share a love for sports — and singing.

“We have a lot in common: we love Reggaeton music and dance all the time. We sing in the car – it’s horrible singing, but we do it anyway. It’s funny because I do better than her because I know more songs than she does. She likes sports, too. We just have a lot in common.”

Two years past his doomed relationship with his final Bachelor pick, Nikki Ferrell, Juan Pablo says he is happy to have “a normal and healthy relationship away from the media – even though her job is in the media!”

According to E! News, Juan Pablo’s new girlfriend is not only a TV host and model, but she has logged years of experience walking the runway in beauty pageants. Galavis’ new girlfriend was even crowned Miss Venezuela Earth 2011.

Juan Pablo Galavis has long made it clear that he’s looking for a stepmother for his daughter. He revealed that while Camila “had a relationship with Nikki,” she loved his new lady right away.

“She’s older now and she understands it, and she loves Osmariel,” Galavis revealed. “That’s important for me; I have to be careful about who I bring into our lives. I’m looking for a woman who will love Camila and could someday be her stepmom.”

While there is no word if Juan Pablo Galavis has dropped the “L” word on his new woman, the former Bachelor star took a lot of heat in the past for not getting down on one knew for Ferrell. Juan Pablo and Nikki later tried to work on their relationship on the VH1 Reality show Couple’s Therapy. Juan Pablo told People that his lack of “I love yous” was just a cultural thing.

“There’s definitely a culture barrier that people don’t understand,” Galavis said.

“In Latin culture, there are many words you can say to a woman to tell her that you care about her: falling in love, loving her, needing her. Those words might not have a translation in English. I’ve learned that ‘love’ is used a lot in the States for everything: I love that burger, I love my shoes, I love a friend. To me, if it’s overused, it loses meaning.”

While Bachelor fans slammed Juan Pablo for not giving Nikki an “I love you” or a ring, Ferrell defend her ex in an interview with show host Chris Harrison. Ferrell, who works as a nurse, said she and Galavis really tried to have a relationship, but their lifestyles were just too different.

“I knew I was never going to be the number one priority — he has a daughter,” Nikki explained. “But there’s a difference between being the second priority and the seventh priority. We’re just different people… He loves being part of the entertainment industry.”

As for his new girlfriend, Juan Pablo Galavis says he’s “impressed” by her.

“I’m amazed by the things she says and does. I’m happy to be with her,” Galavis told People of Villalobos.
