Jacqueline Laurita On Calling Joe Gorga During Explosive Fight With Teresa Giudice

Jacqueline Laurita and her husband, Chris Laurita, decided to invite Teresa Giudice and Joe Giudice over for dinner after Teresa returned home from prison so they could bond and possibly rebuild their friendship before Joe had to turn himself in. Joe is currently serving 41 months behind bars while Teresa is at home taking care of their four daughters. He turned himself in to serve his time in March, three months after his wife returned home. Despite everything her co-star was going through, Jacqueline Laurita thought it was appropriate to confront her about the past, and some people thought that Laurita was way out of line.

According to a new Bravo report, Jacqueline Laurita just wanted to find out the truth about what Giudice knew back in 2011. She has said that she didn’t know she was going to jail at that time and that she didn’t understand the consequences of her husband’s actions. Even though the tabloids were speculating about an upcoming prison sentence and possible fine, no one really knew what was going to happen in 2014, when they learned about their sentences.

“Teresa may have been on her own island at one time, but I believe she put herself on that island. Nobody intentionally ganged up on her. We each had our own separate issues with Teresa and one had nothing to do with another’s, although there were some undeniable similarities we all experienced with Teresa’s behavior,” Jacqueline Laurita writes on her blog for The Real Housewives of New Jersey, according to Bravo.

Some viewers felt that Laurita was a bit too aggressive with Giudice. Maybe she should have just listened to everything that Giudice had to say in that situation and made up her own mind about moving forward. It did seem like Jacqueline Laurita really wanted Teresa to look bad in that situation because she so desperately wanted to bring up the past and make Teresa relive their fighting. Words were exchanged about Giudice’s brother, and Jacqueline decided to call him on speaker phone while she was in the room.

“I decided to call Joe Gorga on the spot, because I wasn’t willing to play the “he said, she said” game. I felt that Joe and I were close enough as friends that I could call him directly, as I have in the past. I spontaneously decided to go straight to the source. I believed this was the only way the truth would come out and it wouldn’t continue to get twisted through the grapevine later on. If Joe Gorga had in fact said that about me to Teresa two years ago while Joe and I were supposedly friends, I felt I needed to reevaluate my friendship with him. I’m glad he cleared that up,” Jacqueline Laurita revealed on her Bravo blog, sharing that she felt she made the right decision in calling Joe on the phone so everyone could be in agreement with what was said.

Teresa, on the other hand, didn’t exactly feel vindicated. When Jacqueline Laurita started comparing their stories in hopes of putting Giudice in the spotlight about her fraud charges and her bankruptcy, she flipped out and walked out of the home. On the way home, she told her husband that she couldn’t stand to look at Jacqueline’s face anymore. They both agreed that Laurita was a nasty person.

What do you think of Jacqueline Laurita’s behavior on last night’s episode of The Real Housewives of New Jersey? Do you think she made a mistake in calling out her co-star for her legal problems?
