Katy Perry’s New Album Coming In October/November Features Songs About Taylor Swift & Orlando Bloom

Katy Perry is reportedly ready to drop her much-anticipated new album in the next few weeks, and she’ll allegedly be singing about her newfound love with Orlando Bloom and her longstanding feud with Taylor Swift.

According to a new report by Britain’s Heat magazine, Katy’s fourth studio album is rumored to be set for release in “October or November” and will more than likely feature music inspired by Perry’s high-profile, albeit very different, relationships with Swift and Bloom.

“[Katy’s] new album will be out in October or November, and the industry is really excited about it,” an insider recently told the magazine. “She’s ready to be back and be the biggest thing in pop.”

The magazine’s insider also revealed that Perry’s romance with Orlando has had a big influence on her impending new music.

“Katy’s on a major high,” Heat‘s source said. “For the first time in a long time, she’s really happy in a relationship and it’s helping her see everything clearer.”

And once her new album drops, it sounds like Perry won’t be wasting any time when it comes to hitting the road for her first time since she performed more than 150 shows around the world as part of her “Prismatic Tour” between 2014 and 2015.

“Katy loves performing, so a large part of 2017 is already put aside for a huge world tour,” the Perry source confirmed.

Heat‘s insider didn’t reveal if Perry’s new music will include a Taylor Swift diss song, though rumors have been swirling for months that Katy is preparing to hit back at her longtime enemy with at least one track on her as-yet-untitled new album.

Radar Online reported earlier this year that a Swift diss will in fact go down on Katy’s new album and could even be one of the singles from Perry’s upcoming release.

“Katy Perry has written a scathing response and intends to make it a single,” an insider recently told the site, adding that the Taylor song “will reference some of the things she feels Taylor has done to play her peers against each other.”

Hollywood Life also reported that Katy is about to take aim at Swift, claiming that Perry has a “Bad Blood” response up her sleeve on her new album that she’s now ready to release following Taylor’s recent drama with ex-boyfriend Calvin Harris.

“Katy definitely had thoughts to squash their beef in light of all the bigger things happening in the world,” an insider told the site of Katy and Taylor’s feud, which hit boiling point following the release of Swift’s 2014 hit “Bad Blood.”

“As the weeks have gone by and seeing what she is doing in this whole Calvin debacle has really lit the fire again,” the source added of the Taylor track.

Perry is yet to respond to the reports and has not yet revealed the official release date for her upcoming fourth studio album, though the recent new music teases have got fans seriously excited on social media.

“Katy can drop the album already I’m ready to be snatched,” Twitter user @leeangelicx wrote and @olivia_barnett_ wrote, “Katy is writing a new album [right now] and I’m so ready for her to come back [because] I’m sick a Taylor Swift and her c**p.”

“YAAAASSSSS KATY!! I’m ready to be shook by this album! @katyperry #Rise,” Perry fan @djjacks1025 added on the social media site, while @TheAnnoyingEris tweeted out, “Katy I’m ready for your album bring it on queen.”

Katy has so far stayed pretty tight-lipped when it comes to details about her new album, though Rae Sremmurd’s Swae Lee recently teased that Perry’s album is coming soon, revealing that he’s been working with the “Firework” singer on her new music.

“I wrote this track and she laid it and it’s pretty dope,” he told Complex of Perry. “It sounded pretty dope. She’s got a lot of style.”
