‘The Walking Dead’ Season 7 Spoilers: Premiere Will Feature The Loss Of Someone ‘You Really Care About’

It is going to be the death that everyone is talking about come mid-October, and it’s actually the death everyone is already talking about. When Season 7 of The Walking Dead premieres on AMC, Negan is going to take care of some business and kill one of the series regulars just a few minutes into the first episode, but who will it be? Everyone has their own opinions, but Ross Marquand (Aaron) says it is going to be someone that people “really care about.”

Please let it be known that there are possible spoilers ahead for the upcoming season and comic book of The Walking Dead. If you don’t want to know them, stop reading now.

The world has been trying to figure out who will die at the hands of Negan and Lucille (his barbed-wire covered bat), but they’re going to have to wait. AMC and the showrunners have used an interesting filming style to avoid spoilers from leaking out.

Ross Marquand plays Aaron on the show and he knows that things are going to get crazy in Season 7 and a lot of people are going to be upset. Popsugar spoke with the cast member of The Walking Dead, and he knows just how brutal this death is going to be.

“Everyone is expecting it to be devastating, and it is. It’s a rough, rough exit, you know? That being said, I think it’s a great episode, too. I think it’s an episode that people will watch and talk about for years to come, honestly.”

Someone is going to stay on their knees in front of Negan as he walks over to them with Lucille in his hand and beats them to death. That is going to be extremely hard to take and watch for any longtime or new fans of the show.

Marquand could honestly be speaking of his very own character’s death, but he has to remain calm and act like he knows nothing.

With the line-up that Negan has standing before him and the way he walked around in the season finale earlier this year, no one knows what is truly coming. Even for those actors walking onto the set and knowing that a serious character death was coming for someone wasn’t easy, and Marquand explains why.

“It was not fun. None of us were having a great time during those scenes. For people in the audience, sitting at home on their couches watching it, they’re going to be feeling all the feelings that we felt. It was an absolute loss of someone that we really care a lot about. We say this time and time again, but it’s not just a TV show for us — it’s a family. When you lose a family member, it’s extraordinarily difficult. We felt that death was like losing someone that you really care about.”

October 23 seems so far away, but that is when Negan’s victim will finally be revealed and the world will begin to mourn. It is too late to try and avoid getting attached to any of the characters as that happened a long time ago.

If things go the way of The Walking Dead graphic novel, then it will end up being Glenn, but it’s possible that they will want to truly swerve the fans. Any death will be hard to take, but if it’s Daryl Dixon, there may be an actual riot.

Maybe something more will be revealed in the sneak peek being shown on Sunday night as reported by the IB Times, but that is highly doubtful.

For Ross Marquand to say that the death in the Season 7 premiere of The Walking Dead is going to be someone that the world would “really care about” is a bit of an understatement. Of course, it is. At this point in the series, pretty much everyone is a beloved regular and it’s going to be hard to see any of them die. Negan could kill Carl or Rick or even Daryl, but no one will know exactly who that will be until October.
