Lindsay Lohan Reportedly Plans To Sue Hit And Run Victim For Defamation

Lindsay Lohan, part-time actress and full-time paparazzi target, is plotting to sue the hit-and-run victim who claims the Mean Girls star clipped him with her Porsche, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The 34-year-old New York cook reportedly said a few things to police that Lohan doesn’t think is very nice, prompting her to consider filing a defamation lawsuit in response. As of this writing, nothing official about the story has been confirmed by Lohan or her representatives.

The New York Daily News explains that Jose Rodriguez, the hit-and-run victim in question, allegedly told police that Lindsay Lohan was slurring her speech and “smelled like alcohol real bad” when she struck his leg with her car early Wednesday morning. Lohan reportedly left the scene of the crime, which left New York City police no choice but to arrest the troubled actress. She was later released without bail.

“I’m tired of people lying just to score a quick paycheck,” she allegedly told her friends. To teach Rodriguez a lesson, she may file a defamation lawsuit in the coming weeks.

Since Lindsay Lohan and Amanda Bynes are having some vehicular drama tossed in their respective directions as of late, tire manufacturer Goodyear has offered to help the troubled starlets out by providing free driving lessons. Honestly, it might not be a bad idea.

“We’re sorry to hear about your latest driving mishap. We’re concerned for your safety and the safety of those who hit the road each day, and we’d like to help out any way we can,” the company said in their letter to the stars’ representatives. Not surprisingly, neither party has responded to the offer.
