‘Justice League’: Can Jason Momoa’s Aquaman Play Guitar? Ezra Miller, Gal Gadot Form Band With Actor During Shoot

After Suicide Squad was ravaged by critics upon its release earlier this month, you’d have thought that the pressure on Justice League and its cast would have increased. Especially following the fact that Man Of Steel and Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice had proven to be divisive, too.

But the latest images from the set of Justice League have proven that everyone involved in the blockbuster is still in good spirits. Jason Momoa, who will debut as Aquaman/Arthur Curry in the DC Extended Universe in Justice League, looks to be at the heart of all the enjoyment, too, as he has been pictured playing guitar alongside the film’s cast and crew.

Zack Snyder posted a superb image of Jason Momoa rocking out with a guitar while in his full Aquaman costume to his Twitter account, which immediately went viral soon after he uploaded it on Friday morning.

But that wasn’t the only picture of Jason Momoa playing his guitar on the Justice League set that emerged over the last few hours. Because it appears as though Momoa has started a band with his Justice League co-stars to pass the time during the shoot.

There’s some stiff competition to join Jason Momoa on guitar, though. Pictures have emerged of both Ezra Miller, who will play The Flash in the DCEU, and Gal Gadot, who is playing Wonder Woman in the DCEU, playing the drums alongside Momoa.

Taking to his Instagram account, Momoa uploaded the below picture of himself and Ezra Miller alongside the caption, “My boy my lil bro Ezra in da pocket. #trailerlife love my music.”

Not to be outdone, Gal Gadot, who previously made her debut in the DC Extended Universe earlier this summer in Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice, then stepped behind the drum kit to assist Jason Momoa with a track. And the pair was clearly having the time of their lives, too, as the picture featured them both with huge smiles.

Jason Momoa was clearly overjoyed with spending time with the Israeli actress, too, because, as well as their beaming smiles, he also included the adoring caption: “What a woman what a wonder. Love ya mama.”

Production is still ongoing on Justice League, which began filming earlier this summer. But the fact that it’s not yet complete didn’t stop a trailer for the film from premiering just last month at San Diego’s Comic-Con. Those of you that missed it can watch it below:

Speaking about the lack of action in the first trailer for the Justice League, producer Charles Roven told the Wall Street Journal that the clip was designed to showcase how Aquaman, Wonder Woman, Batman, and The Flash will interact in Justice League under Zack Snyder’s direction.

“I think one of the things Zack really wanted to do, because everybody knows that Zack certainly has an ability to shoot action, was to just say, ‘Hey, I can do this, too,'” Roven explained. “It doesn’t have to be all action. These characters are going to be different once they begin to interact with each other.”

We will finally get to see how these iconic characters, which also includes Ben Affleck’s Batman, interact when Justice League is finally released into cinemas on November 17, 2017.
