‘Days Of Our Lives’: Chad DiMera’s Shocking Decision About Custody Battle — Will Jennifer Horton Relapse? [Spoilers]
Days Of Our Lives will return with new episodes in just over one week. A lot is going to happen with the characters in Salem, including Chad DiMera and Jennifer Horton. DOOL spoilers reveal that Chad will make a shocking decision about the custody battle. Meanwhile, Jennifer Horton will cope with Abigail’s “death” in an unhealthy way.

As previously speculated by the Inquisitr, Jennifer Horton (Melissa Reeves) will cope with Abigail’s alleged death by going back to using prescription painkillers. As fans saw recently, Jack Devereaux’s (Matthew Ashford) spirit came to help Jennifer again. However, she pushed him away and he vanished into thin air. Before he left, Jennifer told him that she needed to numb the pain. This was a big hint that she was planning on relapsing.
In the latest issue of Soap Opera Digest, Days Of Our Lives spoilers tease that Jennifer will grieve by popping pills and guzzling booze in a motel room. When she wakes up, the Salem resident is surprised to see Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes), Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso), and Belle (Martha Madison). The trio, worried about Abigail’s mother, tracked her down. However, she isn’t the only one fans should be concerned about.
The magazine also reveals that when Days Of Our Lives returns, Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) will not be in a good state of mind. After being told that his wife is dead, he makes a shocking decision about his son, Thomas. In his grief, he will decide that the baby would be better off with Abigail’s mother, Jennifer.
NBC recently released a preview clip for the new season of Days Of Our Lives. It shows Jennifer passed out on a couch. It also appears that Chad will deal with Abigail’s death by destroying things in his home. His reaction is understandable and everyone handles losing a loved one differently. However, it seems that both Chad and Jennifer are not the best people to be raising Thomas right now.
Other Days Of Our Lives spoilers include Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) being arrested for conspiracy to kidnap Tate. However, he claims Deimos Kiriakis (Vincent Irizarry) has set him up. Sonny (Freddie Smith) wants to prove Victor’s innocence and confronts Deimos about it. Also, Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) will ask Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) if her baby belongs to Deimos. Meanwhile, Irizarry’s character asks Nicole to move in with him.
There are also three former villains returning to Salem. Clyde Weston (James Read) breaks out of prison and brings two familiar faces with him: Orpheus (George DelHoyo) and Xander (Paul Tefler). As shown in the preview clip, Xander tries to strangle Theresa Donovan (Jen Lilley) on her wedding day, Clyde threatens to kill Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow), and Orpheus takes Eve Donovan (Kassie dePaiva) as a hostage. Bursting in the chapel where Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) is supposed to get married, the villain announces everyone deserves to die.
As for Chloe’s baby, Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan) knows the truth. The singer begs Shawn (Brandon Beemer) and Belle’s daughter to keep her secret. However, Claire has never been very good at keeping things quiet. She is often conflicted and ends up telling somebody. Will it be Ciara Brady (Vivian Jovanni) or someone else? Deimos and Nicole will find out the truth eventually; it is just a matter of time.
