‘Real Housewives’ Star Meghan King Edmonds Gave Husband A Marriage Ultimatum Over Baby
Real Housewives of Orange County star Meghan King Edmonds is super thrilled to be pregnant with her friend child. She recently announced that she was expecting her first child via IVF and that she was expecting a baby girl. Even though this Real Housewives of Orange County star is sharing her IVF journey with Real Housewives fans, it sounds like there was much more going on behind the scenes.
While filming, Meghan’s husband, Jimmy, didn’t seem too excited about the possibility of becoming a father again, as he already has four children. But this Real Housewives star got her way, because she had some wise words for her husband.
According to a new People report, Meghan King Edmonds is now revealing that she gave her husband an ultimatum: He would have to give her a baby or she would leave him so she could find someone who would give her a baby.

“I think I said ‘Baby, or no me at all,'” the Real Housewives star revealed to the magazine about her baby plans, adding, “All or nothing.”
Jimmy agreed that it would be best for them to go the IVF route to have a baby so he didn’t lose his wife throughout this process. But even though he agreed to have another baby, he hasn’t been very active and inclusive in the process. In fact, rather than going to doctor’s appointments, Jimmy would go play golf. Real Housewives fans have yet to see him film with Meghan at a doctor’s appointment. However, Edmonds is excited to become a mother and has been very open and honest about the IVF process.

“I’m so over the moon! I couldn’t believe it the first time I peed on a stick and I saw that little line kind of get a little darker,” Meghan revealed about her first positive pregnancy test, adding, “It was just such a long process with the IVF, step by step by step with so much information. I’ve always dreamed of this, but it’s still such a miracle. I can’t even describe the feeling.”
It is interesting that Meghan gave her husband an ultimatum while The Real Housewives of Orange County was on hiatus. It is very clear that she wanted her own child, as this was something that surfaced on the previous season of the show. But Jimmy’s behavior has been questionable throughout the season, as he doesn’t seem interested in the process at all. And this was apparent in one of the first episodes of the season. Sadly, Edmonds has been defending her husband throughout the season, trying to make him look busy with other things.

“The scene where I’m going through all of the candles with Jimmy was fun and as you can see, he is preoccupied with the subject right in front of his face – candles! We had just gotten that shipment in our house and we both couldn’t wait to open it and we had already talked about IVF a bunch prior to that, so he was understandably distracted. Additionally, Jimmy is the kind of person that likes to get information and not really ask questions. He’s not a researcher like I am and sometimes a lot of information is too much information for him! I am the complete opposite!” Edmonds revealed on her blog for The Real Housewives of Orange County, according to Bravo.
