Dorinda Medley Says She’s A Meddler For The Sake Of Harmony In ‘RHONY’ Group

Dorinda Medley may not be directly involved in the drama that’s playing out on The Real Housewives of New York these days, but she seems to be really good at stirring the pot and spilling the beans to add even more fuel to the fire.

On The Real Housewives of New York these days, Dorinda is with the ladies in Palm Beach and Miami to celebrate Luann de Lesseps’ engagement to Thomas D’Agostino, a man who she had previously known. In fact, she was the one who hooked them up. But Dorinda isn’t too happy with Ramona Singer and Sonja Morgan, who are both clearly very hurt by the fact that Luann is now engaged to him, since they have both had relations with him in one way or another.

According to a new Bravo report, Dorinda Medley has admitted that what she does on the show could look like she’s stirring the pot and causing trouble. And while watching the episodes, Dorinda has laughed on Twitter, writing that she truly can’t help herself when it comes to causing trouble and spilling the beans to get other people in trouble. But now that Medley has taken some time to think about her actions, she’s now revealing that there’s logic to her madness. At least Dorinda believes that she’s only meddling in people’s business to keep the harmony in balance.

“I had no idea Ramona and Sonja even knew Tom. Ramona’s a discreet woman about her life — maybe not everyone else’s, but with hers, she’s very discreet. So when Ramona told me her story with Tom, and then I heard about the Sonja connection, and THEN heard a different version of both stories from Luann, I was so confused and I just wanted to know what was the real story,” Dorinda Medley writes on her blog for The Real Housewives of New York, according to Bravo, adding that she was truly confused after hearing several sides of the story from her cast members.

Dorinda goes on to write that she truly does care for these ladies, which is why she gets involved with their drama. Medley wants everyone to be on the same page about what is going on, but that may not happen if Ramona Singer and Thomas D’Agostino can’t even get on the same page about how many dates they went on. Plus, Thomas keeps denying that he had a long sexual relationship with Sonja Morgan.

“Maybe I shouldn’t care, but I wanted to know the truth and figured I’d help get everyone on the same page. It wasn’t for the sake of drama — it was for the sake of understanding,” Dorinda Medley reveals on her blog, adding that she doesn’t want to just sit back and not do anything. “Would it have been better to just sit back, say nothing, and let it all play out? I don’t think so. But I think that going forward, when these girls come to me with ideas, conspiracy theories, and gossip, I’ll just ask them to keep me out of it for the sake of either my sanity or the harmony of the group.”

Even though Dorinda Medley is doing everything in her power to get every side of the story in hopes of creating harmony in the group, people outside of the drama are starting to take notice of the way she’s causing trouble. According to Reality Tea, Carole Radziwill and Bethenny Frankel have both said things about Dorinda being a troublemaker and causing plenty of drama on this season of The Real Housewives of New York.
