‘The Originals’: Which ‘TVD’ Characters Should Move To ‘The Vampire Diaries’ Spinoff? [Spoilers]

The Originals is entering Season 4, and fans are looking forward to seeing what happens with Klaus, Marcel, Hayley, and Hope. It’s sister show, The Vampire Diaries, is airing Season 8 in just a few months, which will be its last. In the past, there have been a few crossovers between the shows. When TVD ends, which characters should go to New Orleans?

There may be spoilers for The Originals Season 4 and The Vampire Diaries Season 8 ahead. If you don’t want to know what could happen on either show, then stop reading now.

When The Originals returns to the CW early next year, Klaus Mikaelson (Joseph Morgan) will still be in a pain-induced coma. Five years will have gone by, which means baby Hope is now a young girl. Even though years have passed, Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) is still looking for a cure. Klaus will wake up eventually, and when he does, the vampire will not be happy with what Marcel Gerard (Charles Michael Davis) has done.

As for The Vampire Diaries, executive producer Julie Plec is working on getting Nina Dobrev back for the final season. As the Inquisitr reported, discussions are underway, but no deal has been made yet. However, TVD fans shouldn’t worry, as Dobrev made a promise to return.

After The Vampire Diaries Season 8 finale airs, which characters should move to The Originals? According to Zap2It, there are several possibilities, including the Salvatore brothers, Bonnie Bennett (Kat Graham), Caroline Forbes (Candice King), Tyler Lockwood (Michael Trevino), Enzo (Michael Malarkey), and more. Out of all the TVD characters, who really deserves a story on the spinoff?

Caroline is definitely a candidate. Even though she is in a relationship with Stefan Salvatore (Paul Wesley), there was a connection between Caroline and Klaus. Fans that love King’s character are either “Steroline” or “Klaroline” shippers. Even if there is no romance for Caroline in The Originals, viewers would love to see her go to New Orleans to continue telling her story.

Stefan and Damon Salvatore (Ian Somerhalder) are the main characters of The Vampire Diaries. Both actors have decided to move on. Even though viewers would like to see the Salvatore brothers in The Originals, it probably won’t happen.

Next on the list is Kat Graham’s character, Bonnie. She has been through so much, and Season 8 of TVD is not going to be any easier. There are rumors that Bonnie could die on The Vampire Diaries, but fans are hoping she survives. She is one of the strongest characters on the supernatural TV show. It would be devastating to have her die in the end. What would be amazing is if she survived and traveled to New Orleans to start a new life. Not only do fans want to see Kat’s character in The Originals, but she would be an asset to the CW series. Bonnie is an interesting and determined young woman. Hopefully, if she does move to The Originals, she can have her magic back.

In addition to Bonnie, Enzo is another character fans would like to see in the TVD spinoff. Bonnie and Enzo are perfect together, and if Malarkey’s character doesn’t survive the creature in the vault, Bonnie will be devasted. Viewers want to see Graham’s character live a happy life, especially since she finally found her true love. Enzo is an interesting character and there are a lot of storyline possibilities with Klaus, Marcel, and the others in The Originals.

In a video interview at Comic-Con, Julie Plec said that The Originals can survive without The Vampire Diaries. Mark Pedowitz, the president of the CW, said the same thing. Even though the spinoff only received an order for 13 episodes, that doesn’t mean the show is in danger.
