‘Game Of Thrones’ Spoilers: Will Sansa Turn Her Back On Jon Snow In Season 7?

Game of Thrones Season 7 won’t begin airing until summer 2017. However, viewers are already dying to know what the future has in store for their favorite characters. Speculation has been at an all-time high about the show, and rumors are flying that the Stark family could be in disarray before next season’s finale.

According to E! Online, when fans last saw Jon Snow, he was being named King in the North with his sister Sansa Stark by his side. However, Game of Thrones viewers are a bit worried that Jon’s reign could be cut short, much like that of his brother, Robb Stark.

In the Season 6 finale, as Jon is being revered by the people of the North, Sansa is seen giving Littlefinger an ominous look. Will she choose to turn her back on Jon, whom she believes to be her half-brother in order to seek power of her own?

Some Game of Thrones viewers believe that Littlefinger could influence Sansa Stark to marry him and that the couple could make a power play for the iron throne before the series ends.

While Sansa isn’t the worst person who could become queen, she does have a track record for having some pretty terrible marriages. While her marriage to Tyrion Lannister was forced and never consummated, her second marriage to Ramsay Bolton was a nightmare. Ramsay tortured her and held her prisoner before she finally escaped and she and Jon took back Winterfell.

Is it finally Sansa’s time to rule? It’s a possibility that she’ll want to at least rule over the North, especially if she finds out that Jon isn’t her brother, but her cousin.

Meanwhile, as previously reported by the Inquisitr, Jon Snow could have more formidable enemies to deal with in the future. Rumors are flying that Game of Thrones fans may see newly-crowned queen Cersei Lannister order Jon to be assassinated upon hearing he’s been named King in the North. If Cersei also learns that Jon has Targaryen blood, she’ll no doubt want him dead.

However, there is one person who could prove to be Jon Snow’s biggest ally. Daenerys Targaryen will obviously want to meet Jon when and if she learns that the two share blood. Dany, who believes herself to be the last member of the Targaryen family, will likely be shocked and intrigued when she finds out that Jon is the son of her older brother, Rhaegar.

This revelation could lead to the most powerful of friendships between the two family members and possibly even a marriage. Some Game of Thrones enthusiasts believe that Daenerys will want to wed Jon Snow, not only for power but also to further their bloodline. While this sounds crazy because Jon is her nephew, fans of the show are unfortunately used to seeing incest take place behind closed doors on the series.

Meanwhile, viewers are hoping for a Stark family reunion during Season 7 as well. With Arya Stark back in Westeros, fans want to know if she’ll swing by her former home in Winterfell to see what has become of it. If she does, she’ll learn that Jon and Sansa are both there and could possibly even help them rule the North. Arya has learned a lot in the time since she’s been gone. She is now a skilled fighter and also knows how to swap her face for another person, which has proven to be very useful in many situations.

What are your thoughts on the latest Game of Thrones Season 7 spoilers? Do you think Sansa Stark will turn her back on Jon Snow?
