Jamie Dornan Criticizes Orlando Bloom Nude Paddleboarding While Discussing 2016 ‘Fifty Shades Darker’ Dakota Johnson Nude Scenes

Jamie Dornan criticized Orlando Bloom for paddleboarding naked while discussing some of the scenes that he had to shoot with Dakota Johnson in the upcoming Fifty Shades Darker. This showed that no matter how much the Irish actor would like to stay out of celebrity trending news, he still managed to stay on the top of the Hollywood glamour grind!

When an interviewer asked him about the inequality and double standards that exist in Hollywood when it comes to nude scenes, Jamie referenced Orlando Bloom paddleboarding as an example of full-frontal nudity.

“I do think it’s unfair. I understand why women have an issue with that,” he commented. “I know it’s something that a lot of people have opinion on. But there’s plenty of male genitalia on show. Orlando Bloom did it today without even needing to.”

“But I understand why,” he continued. “There’s more of an active taste for women to take their clothes off and be seen as a sex object. That can be gratuitous and I don’t agree with that.”

Jamie definitely thought that Orlando Bloom taking it all off for his paddleboarding session was “gratuitous.” But what the Irish actor missed out on is that Orlando did it by his own volition, not because a film producer required him to do it for a movie.

In reality, the situation that Orlando Bloom was in, paddleboarding while on vacation with his girlfriend, is entirely different than Dakota Johnson being required to bare it all for the silver screens.

Basically, Orlando can do whatever he likes with his body.

But Jamie Dornan felt very strongly about the fact that he felt sexualized as a man.

“I feel very subjective a lot of the time at work,” he declared. “So I wouldn’t say I’m relatively not objectified in the work place. I am. It’s not just the women, but men too.”

Considering that Dakota had to do a full-frontal scene in Fifty Shades of Grey while he didn’t have to, there seems to be a level of privilege that Jamie Dornan does not understand.

Now that Fifty Shades Darker filming is all said and done, the stars are taking the time to relax before moving onto the next big movie project. Dakota Johnson was seen attending the Radiohead concert with a friend in Los Angeles.

“The 26-year-old was spotted exuding effortless glamour as she left a Radiohead concert with a friend at Los Angeles’ Shrine Auditorium,” reports Daily Mail. “The daughter of Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson sported an elegant orange turtleneck with candy red earrings. Black leather boots artfully matched the Fifty Shades Of Grey star’s black and gold purse, and a pair of faded grey skinny jeans tightened around her pencil-thin legs.”

Seems like being freed from Fifty Shades Darker is making her much more sociable.

Recently, Jamie Dornan was awarded the second best rear in Hollywood, beaten only by Tom Hiddleston.

“Co Down hunk Jamie Dornan has come runner-up in the search for male Rear of the Year,” reports Irish Independent. “He was narrowly beaten to the top spot by fellow actor Tom Hiddleston, who has dominated headlines with his new love interest, US popstar Taylor Swift.”

With all the racy scenes in Fifty Shades Darker, Dakota must have had plenty of opportunities to enjoy his butt in the last four months!

But not all filming of Fifty Shades was smooth sailing. The cast and crew were in Nice filming the last scenes when the terrorist attack happened on Bastille Day.

“It was, as you can imagine, a b**ody awful situation. You’d be affected by it wherever you were in the world,” the Irish actor said, according to Belfast Telegraph. “The first thing that everyone has to work out was is everybody safe, is the whole crew and cast safe. Then you have the strange thing of the next day still trying to make this movie that’s costing millions of dollars to put together. There’s this contractual obligation to work the next day, which is a very strange environment to work in.”

But now that Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson are back in their home countries, they must be relieved that they can recover from the mental strains from working on Fifty Shades Darker for so long.
