Andi Dorfman Reacts To ‘Bachelor In Paradise’ Book Drama, Nick Viall Says She Should Watch The Show

Andi Dorfman is hitting back at allegations that her Bachelorette tell-all book is a bunch of lies. After her book became a big storyline on this week’s Bachelor in Paradise, Dorfman took to Twitter to set the record straight regarding what she wrote about her exes, Josh Murray and Nick Viall.

“I speak two languages…English and Truth,” Andi wrote.

Dorfman, who is currently far away from the Bachelor in Paradise drama on a vacation in Greece, also posted an Instagram snap making it clear that she’s enjoying her own paradise right now.

Andi Dorfman’s tell-all book, It’s Not Okay: Turning Heartbreak into Happily Never After, came up on this week’s BIP when Viall and Murray both talked about how Dorfman wrote about their doomed relationships.

While Viall admitted that most of what Andi wrote about him is true, Murray slammed the book as “pure fiction.”

Murray alleged that Dorfman, who described him as emotionally abusive, lied about their relationship in the book.

“[Andi] has not-so-kind things to say, and it’s very unfortunate that she would depict me in such a false way,” Murray said during a BIP date with Amanda Stanton. “It’s like, how am I supposed to comment on these excerpts that people are sending me to a fictional story, something that’s just not true at all?”

Andi Dorman’s ex-fiance later said that “God knows the truth,” and he explained why he has declined to comment on specific chapters of Dorfman’s controversial tell-all.

“I can’t comment on specific things in any kind of book that my ex has written because it’s a fictional story,” he said. “There’s stuff that’s so ludicrous — how do you comment on something like that?”

While Josh says the book is fictional, Viall told E! News that, for the most part, what Andi wrote about him was true. Andi Dorfman detailed her bad breakup with Nick after they spent the night together in the Bachelorette Fantasy Suite just days before she accepted a proposal from Murray. Viall later shamed Dorfman on live TV when he called her out for having sex with him while knowing that she was going to accept a proposal from Murray.

“It’s not my favorite book,” Nick said of Andi’s tell-all. “I’m familiar with the book, I’m in it a little bit.”

“I don’t know Andi to be the most honest person. What Andi does is she has a tendency of omitting information. That being said, the things that are written about me, as far as like the events that happened and things that were said, a large part of it did happen, so I can’t say that it’s a fictional book. It might be missing some information, but a lot of the things she wrote about did happen.”

Viall also acknowledged that while Murray may want people to think Andi’s book is fictional, based on his own experience, he can’t agree with that. Nick even said the topic of Josh’s “temperament in relationships” will also come up this season on BIP, so that will give Andi’s story even more credibility.

“Some of the things that [Andi] wrote about Josh, with regards to how he is in relationships, his temperament in relationships, and some of those attributes that he displayed in a relationship, you might see this season,” Nick revealed,

In fact, Viall even thinks Andi will get a kick at seeing herself proven right as Josh shows his true colors on the ABC summertime spinoff.

“I think Andi will like watching it,” he said of the new season of Paradise.

While she has been a topic of conversation on Bachelor in Paradise, Andi Dorfman has no relationship at all with her former fiancé. In an interview with People earlier this year, Josh revealed that both he and Dorfman have completely moved on from their rocky relationship.

“I don’t talk to Andi,” he said. “For me, I moved on in my life.”

Still, it sounds like his past life with Andi Dorfman will continue to haunt him.
