Brandi Glanville Says Lisa Vanderpump Ruins Lives, ‘RHOBH’ Star Responds

Brandi Glanville may have sealed her fate when it comes to ever returning to the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. In an interview on the Andy’s Girls podcast, Glanville recently told all about the Bravo reality show, and she painted an ugly picture of what goes on behind the scenes. Brandi even pointed a finger at her RHOBH nemesis, Lisa Vanderpump, for stirring up the most drama.

Brandi had plenty to say about the Bravo reality show, explaining that the producers on RHOBH are all freelance, so they are under pressure to drum up drama or they’re out the door. But Brandi Glanville saved her most cutting comments for Vanderpump.

According to Brandi, amid all of the RHOBH drama, Lisa “will always land on her feet – like a cat.”

“She just gets forgiven. And anyone else – the public just takes them down.”

Glanville went on to say that her friendship with Vanderpump turned into “constant strategizing” about the show. Brandi said she “really needed” a break from the show and was happy that Bravo had her sit out Season 6 because she was “mentally drained.”

“It was exhausting, to be honest. We couldn’t just go to dinner – it was dinner, let’s talk about the show, let’s talk about what’s gonna happen next, almost planning everything, and I was, like, ‘this is not how I roll.’ Cause I can’t plan what comes out of my mouth!”

Brandi also said that Lisa will always land on top and that anyone who dares to cross her is just looking for trouble. Glanville alleged that Vanderpump has the power to ruin people’s lives.

“She’s not gonna go down. But I’m telling you the girls that cross her, she will come for them next season. And not just on the show – she will try to ruin their entire lives.”

Brandi Glanville gave props to RHOBH newcomer Eileen Davidson for challenging Vanderpump last season. But she warned the soap star that she should watch her back going forward.

“I was really happily shocked that she was not putting up with [Lisa’s] crap. If Eileen is back, and I think she is, I have a feeling that Lisa will go out of her way to try and ruin Eileen’s life.”

So, why does Brandi Glanville think LVP has so much power? Turns out Bravo bigwig Andy Cohen plays favorites, at least according to Brandi.

“Andy loves her, and she has Andy’s ear. And beyond that, she always would say, ‘Well I have two hit shows…’ so we all felt that Lisa always had the power…She is an executive producer on Vanderpump Rules, so we all joke that she thought she was producing the Real Housewives too, but then it kind of seemed like she was… These two shows are her life.”

Needless to say, Lisa Vanderpump was not happy with Brandi Glanville’s accusations. The rich restaurateur later tweeted that she was aware of the “nonsense” that Brandi was spreading about her.

On her blog for Bravo, Lisa Vanderpump previously blamed Brandi for creating an “explosive” dynamic on the show.

“I have never experienced, prior to meeting Brandi…, a woman exclaiming, ” I will knock your f*****g teeth out. It is ugly and uncalled for intimidating behavior that I found unnerving to watch,” the SUR owner wrote.

Other RHOBH alums have called Glanville out for continuing to talk about the show that she is no longer a part of. Earlier this year on her Brandi Glanville Unfiltered podcast, Brandi referred to Kyle Richards and Lisa Vanderpump as “b*****s” and “cowards.” But fellow RHOBH star Lisa Rinna came to her co-stars’ defense and told Glanville to “move on.”

But Brandi Glanville still has plenty to say about the reality show that made her famous. In addition to her LVP dish, Brandi gave some behind-the-scenes scoop about how RHOBH works. Glanville revealed that Bravo doesn’t foot the bill for all of those fancy events that play out on the show.

“They pay for the trips and the travel, but not the parties,” Brandi revealed. “There’s a kind of a pressure to, like, entertain. You do spend up a lot of money that you make, because you don’t want to be the only one not throwing a party.”

Glanville also revealed that shooting the RHOBH reunion is grueling. The shoot takes hours, and producers don’t allow the ladies to be unattended at all during the taping— they are even escorted to the bathroom! Brandi also revealed that she would never consider returning to Real Housewives unless she’s in a serious relationship because it’s “really easy” for the other cast members to “pick on ‘The Single One.'”
