Amanda Stanton Shares Her Side Of What Happened With Nick Viall

This week on Bachelor in Paradise everyone saw Amanda Stanton go on a date with Nick Viall and then decide she wanted to go on a date with Josh Murray the next day. The show made it look like Josh stole Amanda from Nick. Amanda Stanton went to her blog to share her side of the story, and she said this was not the way it went down at all. Amanda had actually been talking to Nick since before the show, so it wasn’t like she just met him.

Amanda Stanton shared that she is not blaming the editing, but she does say that some stuff was left out. Of course, the fans don’t know the entire Amanda and Nick story, but now she is sharing it. Before joining the show, Amanda Stanton and Nick Viall did meet a few times and even talked about going on the show. Amanda also shared that she had a bit of a crush on him. When Amanda and Nick talked before the show, he did tell her he was thinking about going, but he wanted to meet Jen Saviano.

Amanda Stanton went into this show knowing that Nick had his eye on someone else. They had a nice date together, but Stanton didn’t feel the sparks with him. Amanda shared that if the cameras were not on them, then Nick wasn’t touching or kissing her. She was very aware that he was waiting on Jen to get there. Nick had his eyes on her for a long time.

When it was time for the rose ceremony, Nick and Amanda talked about things. He mentioned he had a great date with Leah and wanted to get to know her more. It was pretty obvious that Nick and Amanda were not going to last at this point. The two talked about dating other people. Amanda doesn’t think that Nick did anything wrong at all.

When Josh Murray showed up the next day, Amanda Stanton felt like there was nothing wrong at all with her going for it. Amanda was interested him, then they went on a date, and things went great for them. Amanda Stanton doesn’t have anything bad to say about Nick, but she is getting a lot of hate from fans of the show who just didn’t get to see everything that went on.

As USA Today shared, next week viewers get to see Evan Bass make his move on Amanda Stanton. It doesn’t look like things are going well with Carly Waddell, so he isn’t planning to leave without finding love. He will approach Amanda while she is spending time with Josh and ask her on a date. You can assume that things won’t go great for Evan, but he is going to at least give it a try. Evan is seen telling the cameras, “I know she’s with Josh right now. But, I want to do something where it’s like, ‘Hey, here I am.’ Maybe there’s something inside of you that says, ‘I really like this guy.'”

It will be interesting to see if Amanda Stanton is even willing to give Evan Bass a chance. So far, it looks like Josh Murray is her man, and she won’t be moving on to someone new this season. Regardless, it will be great to watch it all go down. You know Josh isn’t won’t be thrilled that Evan is going after Stanton.
