‘Teen Mom OG’ Dad Ryan Edwards Prepares For Vacation After Revealing He Is Expecting His Second Child?

Teen Mom OG star Ryan Edwards is preparing to go on vacation ahead of the upcoming sixth season of the MTV reality show.

While Ryan Edwards is typically quiet when it comes to his social media pages and often goes weeks without sharing anything at all, the reality star and dad of Maci Bookout’s oldest son, 7-year-old Bentley, took to Instagram on August 9, where he revealed he would soon be going on a trip.

“Can’t wait for Destin,” Ryan Edwards wrote on Instagram to his fans and followers along with a photo of an underwater diving apparatus.

In January of this year, Ryan Edwards went public with girlfriend Jordan Brown on Instagram, and the couple traveled together to Los Angeles to film the Teen Mom OG Season 5 reunion along with Edwards’ parents and Bookout, his ex-girlfriend

During their trip, Ryan Edwards and Brown posed for several photos together. During filming, Bookout addressed their relationship, telling host Dr. Drew Pinksy that she was a fan.

“She should be his girlfriend, because she’s awesome,” Bookout said of Ryan Edwards’ then-flame. “Honestly, I just met her today, but she’s really, really cool.”

Bookout also expressed her approval of their relationship when she invited them to a motocross event earlier this year. On Instagram, Brown posted a photo from the event and confirmed she was there after receiving an invite from Ryan Edwards’ ex-girlfriend. However, by March, the couple appeared to have parted ways.

On Instagram, Ryan Edwards appeared to confirm his split from Brown when he removed all traces of the Nashville resident but remained silent when it came to a direct confirmation of their breakup.

While Ryan Edwards’ relationship with Brown appears to be long over, he may now be involved in another romance. As Wetpaint Entertainment revealed earlier this week, Edwards took to Twitter on August 5, where he told fans he was going to be welcoming his second child.

“I’m gonna be a dad again,” Ryan Edwards announced in a since-deleted Twitter post.

In the days that followed Edwards’ post, fans have been wondering if the reality star was being serious with his post or playing a joke on them. They’ve also wondered who the potential child’s mother could be.

Although Ryan Edwards has stayed completely silent on Twitter in regard to his potential baby news, his ex-girlfriend, Brown, posted a suspicious tweet this week, which read, “Oh heavens. No. Definitely not.”

Earlier this year, Ryan Edwards’ parents opened up about the struggles of being on a reality show while chatting with Dr. Drew Pinsky during the reunion special.

“At the beginning was rough… Ryan was definitely the bad guy,” Ryan’s father explained. “Not so bad this year. It’s never really bothered me. I don’t get on social media so I could care less. I don’t read the magazines and I really don’t care to be honest with you.”

“It’s an emotional rollercoaster for sure,” his mom, Jen, added.

Also during the special, Ryan Edwards’ mom was asked if she hoped her son would ultimately rekindle his relationship with Maci Bookout.

“Oh yeah, for a long time,” she said, but as for now, Jen explained, “No, no, I think they are great. Maci’s happy. Ryan’s happy.”
