Charles Sadler, a 35-year-old man from Columbus, Ohio has been arrested on charges of sexual assault after he was allegedly “caught red handed” raping a 3-year-old girl in an abandoned garage. The act was reportedly witnessed by a woman who was driving through the area. Once the woman was convinced that the little girl needed help, she immediately called 911 to alert officials. According to a report by The Daily Mail, the incident happened on the 300 block of South Richardson Avenue, near west Columbus on Friday, last week.
Initial police reports say that the woman, who later turned savior for the 3-year-old girl, was passing by the area when she heard screams coming from inside an abandoned garage. When she went up for closer investigation, she allegedly saw Sadler committing the heinous act on the 3-year-old. After realizing that he was caught in the act, Sadler tried to escape from the abandoned garage. Several reports add that Sadler was babysitting the 3-year-old when the incident happened. The mother of the victim has, in the meantime, posted a heartbreaking update on her Facebook account calling for punishing Sadler for what he did. She also added that the little 3-year-old’s innocence was taken by a man who she looked to as “an uncle.”
The Facebook status read the following.
“ATTN: My Little girl was disrespected in the most worse way ever! A sick m***** f***** decided his obsession with my little girl was gonna be taken to another level! I can’t even begin to express the pain I feel, the pain my daughter feels, or the fact that my little girl’s innocence was taken from her! ppl PLEASE UNDERSTAND when u think it can’t happen to you or your loved ones it really can! My daughter was being watched by two unresponsible adults that we considered family! They took their eyes off my daughter and this man took my baby girl Breezy and raped her! Meanwhile, Sadler’s family have told local news channels that he was “passed out drunk somewhere” at the time of the incident. At the time of publishing this article, Sadler is being held in the Franklin County Jail on $200,000 bond. After the mother of the victim came to know about the $200,000 bond, she once again vented her frustration on Facebook by posting this;
“They gave him a f*****g bond!!! $200,000 I was balling in front of that judge and the sheriffs… They read off the charges and the evidence! Next court date August 15th THIS IS BULLSHIT! They asked for a stay away order. Justice is not being served yet! Please everyone help me get JUSTICE FOR BREEZY!!! Please help me!”
