Jill Dillard Pregnant? Rumors Swirl That Duggar Daughter Is Expecting Baby No. 2
A Jill Dillard pregnancy might be happening sooner than we thought, reported the International Business Times. While Dillard, her husband, and 1-year-old son have briefly returned to the U.S. from their missionary trip in Central America, Jill and Jessa: Counting On fans are beginning to speculate there might be another reason for their visit.
On Sunday, Jill Dillard posted a photograph on Instagram of her reuniting with her family at an airport. Almost immediately, fans began to sense that something was up. Dillard can be seen holding her 6-year-old sister, Josie, over her midsection in the photograph. The reality TV star was also wearing a high-waisted skirt. The combination of the two had Jill and Jessa: Counting On viewers assuming that baby number two might be on the way.
The Jill Dillard pregnancy rumors only have intensified since the reality star has come home. The Duggars also posted the Instagram photograph to their family blog. Almost immediately, fans began to comment on Jill’s figure. One of the commenters claimed that Dillard was wearing a maternity top in the picture. Still, none of these rumors have been confirmed just yet.
A Jill Dillard pregnancy wouldn’t necessarily be a surprising revelation, if that were the case. In the second season trailer for Jill and Jessa: Counting On, Derick hints at the possibility that couple might be expecting. In the promo, he says to his wife, “Let’s try to have another baby before next year,” while Jill smiles.
Fans are hopeful that the reality star will be having a another child soon. While one fan said that, “Jill looks like she might have a baby bump,” other fans and Instagram followers have developed theories behind this potential pregnancy.
“Is she having another baby? Is that why they’re going to be home for several months, so she can deliver around family?”
While a Jill Dillard pregnancy has yet to be confirmed, there is other exciting news within the Duggar family. Jill’s sister, Jinger, recently became engaged to former soccer player Jeremy Vuolo.

The two initially met in May of 2015, while on a mission trip, reported Us Weekly. Once Jinger began to connect with Jeremy, she saw a potential budding relationship between the two.
“It was there that I really saw his heart and really admired his character. After that, he contacted my dad and asked if we could get to know each other.”
Though a Jill Dillard pregnancy may or may not be in the cards, Jinger and Jeremy’s romance is going strong. A month prior to the couple’s engagement, Jeremy said that he wanted to take things slowly between him and Jinger.
“As opposed to a more casual dating relationship, we really want to honor the Lord and be very intentional about how we move forward.”
Such as Jinger Duggar, religion plays a huge role in Jeremy’s life. While the former soccer player strongly identifies with his sport, he mostly relates to religion.
“I think it really comes down to having your base identity being in something other than your skill, yourself, the circumstances around you. My identity needs to be in something that never changes and that’s Jesus Christ. It begins and ends with having that foundation in Christ.”
A potential Jill Dillard pregnancy isn’t the only exciting news coming out of the Duggar family. Jessa Duggar and her husband, Ben Seewald, have been discussing the possibility of adopting a child. While nothing has been confirmed, hopefully that will be a thrilling twist on the second season of Jill and Jessa: Counting On.
