Selena Gomez Shades Justin Bieber, Shocks With ‘Cuddle Sesh’ Photo
Selena Gomez has become weary of being known primarily as Justin Bieber’s girlfriend. Despite successfully managing the delicate transition from Disney Channel sweetheart to pop music princess and splitting with the Biebs, Gomez continually is tagged with descriptions such as Bieber’s ex gal pal.
Adding to that annoyance, Justin recently ditched Selena and her best friend Taylor Swift by making a point of siding with Team Kanye West and Kim Kardashian, as the Inquisitr reported. Now Gomez has seized her chance to retaliate by throwing shade at Bieber, reported Cosmopolitan.
Moreover, Selena successfully dissed Justin without ever mentioning his name. Instead, proving she’s learned the ropes of how to take control of what could be a stressful interview, Gomez revealed in a Vogue interview precisely what she desires in her dream date.
“I’d be so stoked with a writer or producer or actor who is low-key.”
However, the “Hands To Myself” singer unveiled a bombshell about how her dream dudes seem to react to her.
“Those kind of guys are terrified of me,” claimed Selena.
Reflecting on the challenges in finding the right match, Gomez expressed her concern that men who are low-key are threatened by the spotlight constantly shining on her.
“I think people would think it’s kind of dumb [to date me]. Nobody would want to throw themselves into that situation where it was so heightened publicly, like, why would they?” she modestly questioned, ignoring her stunning appearance and talents.
As for whether any of her past romantic relationships might match her dating qualifications, Orlando Bloom has been linked to Selena recently. But although he qualifies when it comes to her “actor” criteria, the “low-key” aspect doesn’t meet her needs.
When Bloom and Gomez were seen cuddling in a Las Vegas nightclub in May, the news of their hookup went viral, with TMZ publicizing pics of their canoodling session and getting sources to dish the details.
Selena was enjoying her after-party following her Vegas concert at the club when Orlando showed up as a “surprise, late addition to the party,” shared the sources. The two became noticeably “touchy feely,” nuzzling each other’s neck and hugging in a booth.
That puts Bloom out of the competition for a low-key boyfriend for Gomez. But is there someone else in the picture?
Selena just shocked her followers with a photo and video that reveals she has daily cuddle sessions with a mystery person.
“Love my Elie. Everyday we do a little catchup/cuddle sesh,” wrote Gomez in the caption.

Who is the person who joins Selena for that “cuddle” time? Gomez is keeping it cryptic for now. And that just may be wise after what she’s gone through having the title of the Biebs’ girlfriend.
Selena has been complaining for months about the drain on her career that she contends results from her relationship with Justin, according to Elle.
Gomez subsequently went into more detail about how upset she is that her professional success story gets overshadowed by her past personal relationship with Bieber, months later attempting to clarify how she felt.
“I would try to promote something that I loved, and the entire interview would be about my personal life. I would leave a room feeling defeated,” Selena confessed.
