On Friday, Sony Computer Entertainment announced that Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time will launch on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita in North America on February 5, 2013, with a release in Europe following one month later.
As previously revealed, gamers who pick up a copy of Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time for the PlayStation 3 will receive a voucher to download the Vita version of the game from the PlayStation Network at no extra cost. Seeing as how the Vita version costs less than the PlayStation 3 version, that offer won’t work the other way around.
If you put in a pre-order for Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time at participating (most) retailers, you’ll be able to get access to the following bonus content: Sly’s Para Glider Sanzaru monkey logo and camouflage skins, and Murray’s undercover Ultimate outfit.
Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time is under development at Sanzaru Games, the studio responsible for The Sly Cooper Collection, an HD makeover of the original three Sly Cooper games for the PlayStation 3 released late 2010.
Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time follows up on the events of the third game which, considering how long ago that came out, most of you probably don’t remember unless you played The Sly Cooper Collection.
In the fourth game, Sly and the gang will be tasked with trying to figure out who is messing around with the Cooper timeline. Costumes are one of the major new features in the game, each of which give your character new abilities to play around with.
