Justin Timberlake Says He’ll Only Do Music Again As ‘Special Thing’

Justin Timberlake won a Grammy with his last album, 2006’s FutureSex/LoveSounds, but the talented actor and singer said he doesn’t have plans to return to the studio anytime soon.

Timberlake said his music making process is inspired by his life experiences and making an album “is a really big deal,The Associated Press reported.

“For me, personally, when I do sit down and decide to do it, it’s just a special thing,” Justin Timberlake said in an interview this week.

He’s been doing pretty well without music. Justin Timberlake has appeared in a number of movies, including The Social Network, Alpha Dog, and Friends With Benefits. He’s also engaged to Jessica Biel, and just celebrated his bachelor party in Las Vegas.

This week he appears in Trouble With The Curve with co-stars Amy Adams and Clint Eastwood.

Though Justin Timberlake has shifted more toward acting than singing, Eastwood told USA Today that he still remembered Timberlake from his ‘N’Sync days.

“I didn’t associate him with acting,” Eastwood said. “So it becomes more of a deal all of a sudden when he’s coming back as an actor.”

But Eastwood found out that Timberlake has another skill in announcing. In the movie he plays a former baseball player trying to find a place in the announcing booth, and to get the part in Trouble With The Curve Timberlake made an audition tape that impressed Eastwood.

There’s one more area Eastwood learned that Justin Timberlake excels — golf.

“If (Timberlake) had been a lousy player it would have been, ‘He can’t play the role.’ ” Eastwood told USA Today with a smile, causing Timberlake to bust out into laughter.

So with plenty of acting jobs on his plate, Timberlake doesn’t appear too eager to try to follow up his last album, which had three No. 1 hits and sold more than four million copies in the United States.

“I don’t know that I can pump them out every year,” Justin Timberlake said.
