‘Bringing Up Bates’ Stars Chad And Erin Bates Paine Celebrate The Birth Of Their Daughter

Congratulations are in order for Chad and Erin Paine on the birth of their daughter. Brooklyn Elise Paine was born on Saturday, August 6, and UPtv announced on their website that Brooklyn was born at 5:42 a.m. ET, and weighed in at 6 pounds, 6 ounces. The happy couple also provided a statement concerning the birth of their daughter.

“Our hearts are overflowing with joy at the arrival of our sweet Brooklyn! We have looked forward to this day with so much hope, anticipation, and excitement. God has answered many prayers and calmed many fears throughout this pregnancy, and to hold our little princess in our hands for the first time is truly a miracle and dream come true.”

An announcement was also posted to the Paine family blog, stating that “We are so excited to share that Ms. Brooklyn Elise has arrived. She was born on August 6, 2016. She joins big brother, Carson!”

Chad and Erin Paine welcomed Brooklyn’s big brother, Carson, on May 14, 2015, and fans were thrilled to see the couple holding their first little bundle of joy. The couple had previously suffered three devastating miscarriages, and after many tests to uncover the problem, they discovered Erin had a blood clotting disorder. A daily shot of Heparin has allowed her to have healthy pregnancies, and to carry both babies to term.

When Carson was born, Erin also had problems during delivery, and during the latest episode of Bringing Up Bates, she mentioned that her doctor was planning to induce her when it was time for Brooklyn’s arrival. As she talked, it was obvious that she was happy about that decision because her last experience was very frightening. With a planned delivery, Erin hoped that there would be no complications, and everything would go smoothly. Judging by photos of Chad and Erin with their two children, everything seems to be just fine with both mother and baby.

As fans of the show know, Kelly Jo and Gil Bates have 19 children, and some of them are now married and beginning to start families of their own. As more of the Bates children tie the knot, it may become difficult to keep track of all the grandchildren. If each of the 19 children had just 3 children of their own, there would be a whopping 57 grandchildren added to the Bates clan.

Fans may get to see what occurred during the birth if the film crew was still around shooting footage for another season. At this time, there is no word if the show will be renewed, but fans can keep their fingers crossed. Now that Chad and Erin have welcomed baby Brooklyn into the world, it’s likely that a steady stream of excited family members stopped by to see the newest member of the Bates family. There will never be a shortage of ready and willing babysitters to help Chad and Erin out occasionally, either.

Erin’s brother Zach and sister-in-law, Whitney, just welcomed their own daughter, Kaci Lynn, on June 20, 2016. They also have a son, Bradley Gilvin, who was born on October 29, 2014. No doubt there will be plenty of playdates in the future for the Paine and Bates children. Erin has a married sister that currently lives in Florida, and the family tries to make it out to see her as often as possible. Alyssa and John Webster’s daughter, Allie Jane, was born on April 11, 2015.

Now that another sister, Michaela, is married, there may be even more babies to come. Michaela Bates and Brandon Keilen were married last fall in Knoxville, Tennessee. They now live in Chicago, and they are the farthest away from the family. Alyssa currently lives in Florida, but so far the family has managed to visit with her frequently. A trip to Chicago would take more planning and time, and so far it seems that Michaela and Brandon are doing the majority of the traveling, at least for now.
