Team USA Vs. Venezuela Basketball Streaming Live Online: How And When To Watch The Next Game At The 2016 Rio Olympics

The Team USA men’s basketball team took control of things in their opening game of the 2016 Rio Olympics on Saturday with a dominating win over China. Kevin Durant was on fire and led the Americans with 25 points on 10-for-14 shooting en route to a huge victory. Tonight, Team USA will take on Venezuela, and here is when to watch and how to watch on TV and via live stream online.

The Americans were expected to win against China, but no one expected the margin of victory that ended with 57. It was a great performance overall, but things did start off kind of slow for this new team.

After getting used to things, they quickly picked it up and came together for a big win. It is not expected that there will be the same kind of slow start on Monday night when the Americans face off with Venezuela for their second preliminary game at the Olympics.

No one will want to miss a single second of the action as anything is possible, and even blowouts are fun to watch.

As recapped by the NBA’s official website, Team USA missed their first five shots and actually trailed China 2-0. They scored a single time on their first six possessions and needed to find a groove that ended up being sought out by Durant.

Durant and Carmelo Anthony combined to score or assist on all 13 points for the Americans as they built up a nine-point lead. From there, they went on a huge run to end the first quarter leading the Chinese by a score of 30-10.

While Durant ended with 25 points, six assists, four rebounds, and two steals, every single player on the roster ended up scoring. DeMarcus Cousins also had an impressive game, which saw him finish with 17 points, five rebounds, and two assists, as reported by FanSided.

Yi Jianlian led the way for China with 25 points and five rebounds, but he could never get enough help to stay with the United States. China is next set to face France in the 2016 Rio Olympics, and that game will happen this evening at 9:30 p.m. ET.

The United States’ victory over China moved them to 131-5 in Olympic competition, and they have a winning streak of 46 games which goes back to the World Championships in 2006.

In late July, the Americans played an exhibition game against Venezuela and dominated in that contest as well. The official website for USA Basketball recapped the game, which was won 80-45 by the Americans, and it got ugly early as Team USA led 36-18 at halftime.

Klay Thompson and Kyrie Irving led the way in that game with 13 points each. Almost every player on the Team USA roster did score, but they were the only two players in double-digits. Paul George did not end up playing due to a coach’s decision.
