Lamar Odom Has Just Three Months To Live? Khloe Kardashian Is Concerned

Lamar Odom doesn’t appear to be doing well nearly one year after he nearly lost his life due to a drug overdose.

Although many were hoping Lamar Odom would be scared straight by his 2015 overdose, that doesn’t appear to be the case and his family and friends are fearing for what the future may hold.

During last night’s episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians Season 12, Lamar Odom’s soon-to-be ex-wife, Khloe Kardashian, was seen chatting with her friend about Lamar Odom’s condition and while she admitted that he sounded good during a phone conversation, she wasn’t convinced he was being completely honest about his behavior.

“I don’t know, like his behavior is just…different,” Kardashian told Malika Haqq, according to a report by E! News on August 7. “I mean even his drinking alone is so bothersome to me and it makes me so furious because he can’t even be drinking, it hasn’t even been one year.”

In October 2015, Lamar Odom was found unconscious at a legal brothel in Pahrump, Nevada, where he had been staying for a few days. After being transported to a local hospital, Lamar Odom was reported as being in a coma and for days he remained unconscious.

Once Lamar Odom awoke from his coma, he was transferred to a Los Angeles hospital with Kardashian at his side. As fans may recall, Kardashian immediately boarded a private jet and rushed to Odom’s side, along with her mother, Kris Jenner, and sister Kim Kardashian, after learning of his dire condition.

After three months in the hospital, Lamar Odom was ultimately released and as he continued to recover from his drug overdose, Kardashian remained supportive and even rented him a home in Calabasas, California so that he could be close to her and her family.

Although Lamar Odom appeared to be doing well for the first several weeks after his hospital release, it is now being reported that he has returned to drugs and alcohol and may only have three months to live.

“He’s gone back to partying, drinking and doing drugs,” a source told In Touch Weekly earlier this month. “His kidneys never fully recovered from the overdose, and doctors have told him that going back to his old lifestyle will guarantee his death.”

While Kardashian has reportedly begged Lamar Odom to get help in rehab, the former NBA star doesn’t want to hear it and reportedly stormed out of an intervention held by his ex-girlfriend Liza Morales, the mother of his children, daughter Destiny and son Lamar Jr.

“His body just can’t take much more of the abuse he’s putting it through,” the source continued. “It’s like Lamar has a death wish.”

In addition to claims of Lamar Odom being near death, it has been alleged that Kardashian and her family have a statement prepared in case Odom doesn’t make it through his sobriety struggles.

“Khloe let it slip that her family has prepared a statement to be released if Lamar dies,” a second source revealed to In Touch Weekly. “She thinks it’s only a matter of time until he has a fatal overdose, and she told [his ex-wife and baby mama] Liza Morales she needs to prepare herself for that, too.”
