Cara Delevingne Neglects Girlfriend St. Vincent As ‘Suicide Squad’ And Other Movies Dominate Her Interview

Cara Delevingne is getting bigger and bigger in Hollywood with the release of Suicide Squad in cinemas. While in the interview previous to the movie release, the 23-year-old model/actress was raving about her girlfriend St. Vincent in her interview, but as Suicide Squad gets more press, Cara is concentrating on promoting her movies.

Suicide Squad isn’t doing very well in terms of reviews. Rotten Tomatoes has given the anti-superhero movie just 26 percent. The critics consensus states that the movie “boasts a talented cast and a little more humor than previous DCEU efforts, but they aren’t enough to save the disappointing end result from a muddled plot, thinly written characters, and choppy directing.”

But it is doing tremendously well in box offices, thanks to a strong fan base that doesn’t seem to care the artistic quality of the film. It “open with an estimated $135.1 million in North American ticket sales, scoring one of the year’s biggest box-office debuts,” according to Fox News.

To promote Suicide Squad, Cara Delevingne has teamed up with her co-star Margot Robbie to give the movie the boost it needs. As two remarkably attractive blondes, they have gained the public’s attention with their beauty, banter and, of course, a bit of scandal.

Their platonic love for each other has definitely made sure that they stay on top of trending news. In an interview, Margot told the story of their friendship, which involved overhearing and tequila.

“It was that kind of thing, a super-fancy event. I remember muttering to my friend Sophia [Kerr], when this waitress asked, ‘Would you like water? Would you like champagne?’ I said, God, I want a tequila,” Margot Robbie said according to Entertainment Tonight. “Cara, who I’d never met before, was about five metres away from me and her ears just pricked up and she said, “Did someone say tequila?”

Right before the promotion for Suicide Squad really kicked in, Cara revealed that she is completely in love with her girlfriend St. Vincent.

“I’m completely in love… Before, I didn’t know what love was – real love,” she said to British Vogue. “I didn’t understand the depth of it. I always used to think it was you against the world. Now I know the meaning of life is love. Whether that’s for yourself or for the world or your partner.”

“I’m still learning. I act for love. I give it my all,” she revealed of her more recent pursuit. “I would probably still do it even if I wasn’t paid at all. But in terms of equal pay I need to be paid the same as the guy who has equal billing with me. Otherwise I won’t do it. Because if you accept less, you’re just letting everyone else down and continuing the cycle.”

But since then, Cara Delevingne has not been seen with her girlfriend nor has she brought her up in conversations or interviews. Looks like getting more involved in movies is a priority for the model, who is transitioning into Hollywood.

St. Vincent, no doubt, has been such a big part of the British model’s journey as she recovered from depression. Now, thanks to the influences of her girlfriend, Cara conducts a freakishly healthy life in California, preaching “the virtues of green juice and the gym”.

The last time that they were seen together was at Taylor Swift’s Fourth of July party, where they were seen PDA-ing on a terrace.

“Cara Delevingne and her girlfriend St. Vincent couldn’t help but share a sweet while taking a moment for themselves during Taylor Swift’s star-studded Independence Day party in Rhodes Island,” reports Daily Mail. “The British model-turned actress, 23, was seen enjoying the sunshine on the balcony of Taylor’s home with her long-term partner, the two of them snuggling up together.”
