The Bold and the Beautiful teases that Katie and Bill’s marriage turns sour after Bill announces that it’s over. He puts pressure on her to sign the divorce papers, and when she refuses, he tries to make her feel as if she’s ungrateful for everything he’s given her. Katie tells Bill that she wants everything “she’s earned” in her settlement, and this is “nowhere near enough.” Ridge hatches a plan to take Bill’s Forrester Creations shares, and with Katie’s help, it could become a reality.

The Bold and the Beautiful promo shows that Bill asks Katie for a divorce, revealing that their marriage isn’t working anymore. It isn’t a huge surprise after Bill slept with her sister, Brooke, and then tried to take her son, Will, from her.

Before long, Ridge blurts out a possible plan; she could ask for Bill’s Forrester Creations shares as part of her settlement, stripping Bill of any connection to the company.

“If someone, a friend of yours, is in trouble, the last thing you want to do is ask for a favor. Especially if it involves making her divorce more complicated. But be that as it may, Ridge does feel that Bill getting out of Forrester would be a good thing for all involved.”

Soap Opera Digest reports that Katie is desperate to find someone to be on her side. She needs someone to be there for her, for better or for worse, in good times or bad. Ridge wants to be that person for her because right now, he needs a friend too.

Let’s not forget about the history between Katie and Ridge. The Bold and the Beautiful teases that there is a reason they are in each other’s orbit at the right time, and it could lead to a rekindled romance.
