Drake Hires Out Entire Aquarium After Hours For Romantic Date Night With Rihanna
Drake is going all out to prove his love for Rihanna.
A new report by Lainey Gossip is claiming that Drake is doing all he can to win Rihanna’s heart amid reports that the couple are hooking up again, and is seriously splashing the cash in the process.
The site reported this week that Drake pulled out all the stops to surprise Rihanna with a big romantic gesture while the two were in his home country of Canada on July 31, and allegedly hired out an entire aquarium after hours for a seriously romantic midnight date.
Lainey Gossip claimed that multiple source confirmed that Drake hired out Ripley’s Aquarium in Toronto, Canada, to surprise Rihanna and even dished the details on Drake’s big date gesture.
And it sounds like big romantic gestures and date nights aren’t a rarity when it comes to Drake.
A report by Hollywood Life revealed amid the circulating dating rumors that Drake treats Rihanna “like a queen” and always has, even when they weren’t officially together.
“At first she resisted because he made it too easy,” an insider said, admitting that it was actually Rihanna’s friends who encouraged her to give things another go with Drake. “They made the argument that Rihanna deserves to be treated like a queen, so why is it that she seems to prefer to be treated like less than? So that was it.”
Drake and Rihanna have not officially confirmed or denied the rampant dating reports, though the romantic date night claims come after the two showed off some serious chemistry while hitting the stage at Canada’s OVO Fest earlier this week.
Drake and Rihanna performed together on the big stage two nights in a row, and certainly didn’t do too much to hide their reconciliation.
According to Capital Extra, Drake and Rihanna were seriously flirty on stage and he even admitted to the crowd that he’s ready to start a family with the “We Found Love” singer.
Fan captured footage from Drake and Rihanna’s OVO Fest performance of “Too Close” shows Drake telling Rihanna on stage, “You showed up two nights in a row for my city, you might have to go half on a baby.”
“Y’all better make some motherf***** noise for Rihanna one time” Drake then continued, after Rihanna referred to him as “baby” following a performance of “Work.”
Drake then continued to gush over Rihanna throughout the night, admitting that she was “looking good” and even describing her as “the greatest entertainer in the world.”
Drake and Rihanna didn’t appear to hide the fact that they’re dating once again during their performance, though E! News recently alleged that the two were keeping things on the down low this time around because Rihanna is still reluctant to commit to a full on relationship with the rapper.
“Things are great and their connection is really strong,” a source told the site of the two, who were first rumored to be dating back in 2009, but admitted that it’s Rihanna who’s not ready to call Drake her official boyfriend just yet.
“Drake has expressed to Rihanna that he only wants to date her and only her, but she wants to take day by day this time around,” an insider close to the twosome admitted. “Drake would make her his girlfriend in a second if he could.”
