‘Walking Dead’: Was Michonne Spared From Lucille? Actress Found On Location [Spoilers]

The Walking Dead’s rumor mill continues as Michonne’s survival from the Season 7 premiere is in question. This is because Danai Gurira was spotted on a film location recently. Rumor has it that she’s on her seventh episode, according to International Business Times. The source of this information was spotted on The Spoiling Dead Fans Facebook page.

So has Michonne made it past the barb wired Lucille in the first episode of Season 7?

To note, Jeffrey Dean Morgan was talking a few days ago about his character Negan and mentioned they were on their seventh episode.

The Walking Dead fan page gave a date-by-date account of the activity on location.

“Filming took place on Old Greenville Rd. Carol and Morgan filmed at the creeptastic house with the graveyard. There was additional filming off Old Greenville Rd. There was a scene filmed with Michonne and an unknown female (possibly the same mystery chick she reportedly filmed with in episode 7.) Michonne was in the passenger’s seat and supposedly exits the car at one point.”

Of course, The Walking Dead rumor and speculation train is not only with Michonne but with a slew of characters. There is 11 total that are in the line-up to get whacked, and The Independent online publication was having their take from The Spoiling Dead Fan page. It was reported all the actors were seen on set and that there was a corroboration where producers filmed 11 different endings to throw people off their scent.

That’s quite an AMC smoke screen is it not?

This could be spoiler territory here, but this is also to be taken with a grain of salt. If you still want to keep it a mystery, continue no further.

Two Walking Dead cast members were only present for the Season 7 premiere shoot, according to The Independent. They were Steven Yeun (Glenn Rhee) and Michael Cudlitz (Abraham Ford). That said, if Glenn is iced, this would keep things comic accurate with the Skybound publication.

Also, Michonne has remained alive further into the comics. So perhaps Robert Kirkman is keeping in some sort of sync?

As to Abraham, when Negan took his first whack at someone in the Season 6 finale he said, “Takin’ it like a champ!” That said, do you think that the red-headed tough guy could suck up the first impact?

There’s a theory Cudlitz’s character could be the first to go considering their encounter “lays in the look the two men shared,” according to ComicBook. Did Negan see him as the threat? The strongest of the group?

There’s also a theory based on how well things are going with the characters in the moment. As soon as things start to look good, their luck switches gears for the worst. The Hollywood Take noted that Rick Grimes and Michonne are in a new relationship and with the pattern The Walking Dead has been taking, good times typically go bad. This moment on the series finale is concerning.

The thing is, though, a good amount of the characters finally showed improvement. Eugene has even proved himself to handle his own, but then the RV he helmed was compromised by Negan’s men.

Michonne is a key and impressive character with her swordsmanship. It would be a shame to let her go as it would be interesting to see how she further develops her relationship with Rick. So perhaps, this time, they’ll be spared? Will the show go a different direction by not putting the kibosh on their good fortune?

Will karma be taken into consideration since Abraham dumped Rosita cold turkey since he now has his sights set on Sasha?

The Walking Dead Season 7 premiere can ensure this fully on October 23 on AMC.
