Blake Shelton And Gwen Stefani Not Engaged, But Blake Has Sweet Plan To Propose
Blake Shelton hasn’t asked Gwen Stefani to marry him yet, contrary to recent reports. However, the cowboy has devised a plan to propose to his Cali girl, and he’s picked the perfect date to pop the question. According to a recent report, he’ll ask Gwen to marry him during the most wonderful time of the year.
A source close to Gwen Stefani recently shot down rumors that Gwen and Blake are already engaged.
“Everyone is expecting it to happen at some point, but Gwen is touring and busy,” a Stefani source told People. “The time just hasn’t been right.”
The source revealed that Gwen and Blake Shelton have talked a lot about “their longterm future together,” they just haven’t decided on a wedding date. However, Blake Shelton has reportedly picked a date to propose to Gwen, and he wants her three sons — Kingston, 10, Zuma, 7, and Apollo, 2 — to play a part in the proposal. A source told Life & Style that Gwen already knows that Blake plans on popping the question over the Christmas holidays, and she’s looking forward to her kids witnessing the big moment when Blake gets down on one knee and asks to be their stepdad.
“Gwen will have the boys for Christmas this year, and she very much wants them to be involved,” the insider said. “After all, Blake is going to be their stepfather.”
Blake Shelton reportedly plans on whisking Gwen and her sons away on a Christmas ski trip to either Mammoth Lakes, California, or Aspen, Colorado. He’ll propose during their vacation, and Gwen Stefani will likely start planning their wedding right away.
“She can’t wait until she can focus more on Blake and their wedding.”
According to Hollywood Life, Gwen Stefani and her ex-husband, Gavin Rossdale, used to take the kids to Mammoth for the Christmas holidays. Because Gwen and Gavin have a history there, Blake Shelton might choose Aspen for his proposal location. This will ensure that Gwen isn’t dwelling on bittersweet family memories during what should be one of the happiest moments of her life.
Luckily, Gwen didn’t have a blue Christmas last year; she was too busy making new memories with Blake during what was also a joyful time for “Shefani” fans. As Entertainment Tonight reported, Gwen and Blake spent the holidays at Blake’s home in Oklahoma while Gwen’s sons were on their annual Mammoth ski trip with Gavin Rossdale. The couple was photographed shopping at an Atwoods Ranch and Home store in Madill, Oklahoma, and they were also spotted eating dinner together at the Gonzalez Mexican Restaurant in Tishomingo.

“Shefani” fans went crazy when Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton packed on the PDA in a sweet holiday greeting. In a video that she shared on her Twitter page, Gwen grinned for the camera while Blake showered her with kisses. The couple was dressed in festive green camouflage, and it looked like they were hanging out together in the woods surrounding Blake’s ranch.

While Blake Shelton might not pop the question until later this year, he and Gwen have already talked about the possibility of getting hitched. However, right now they don’t want to deal with the hassle of planning an extravagant Hollywood wedding. According to Us Weekly, what really matters to the couple is enjoying their time together, not shopping for one-of-a-kind wedding dresses or planning a vegetarian-friendly wedding menu.
“They talk about their future and growing old together, but there aren’t specific plans like a dress or flowers,” a source said of the Gwen and Blake’s plans to spend the rest of their lives together.
However, there is one aspect of planning a wedding Gwen and Blake have reportedly discussed: the venue.
“Gwen has said they both want something more low-key than their first weddings,” another insider revealed. “It would likely be at Blake’s ranch [in Oklahoma] or in the backyard. Gwen doesn’t really care, she is just in love with Blake and their life together.”
