Jack Osbourne Gets Real About Parents’ Marriage, Says It’s Not ‘Perfect’

There’s massive attention on the Osbourne family this week after news broke that Ozzy Osbourne is going into treatment for sex addiction. The news comes after it was reported that Ozzy and Sharon were splitting after 34 years together as a married couple due to infidelity on Ozzy’s part.

Now, Jack Osbourne, the couple’s son has come out to speak about his parents’ marriage, after his mother, Sharon Osbourne, tearfully revealed the news of Ozzy’s treatment on her show The Talk. Jack, who hasn’t commented much on his parent’s relationship since the news was announced of their split last May, is speaking out.

Jack stated the obvious on the radio show Sway in the Morning when he was asked about the status of his parent’s marriage.

“They’re working on it. You know, they’re trying to rein it in. They’ve been together for so long and this isn’t their first rodeo. They don’t have this picture-perfect marriage, and they’ve never claimed to, so they’re just trying to figure it out, I guess.”

Despite Ozzy’s troubles, Jack told host Sway that he would support his parents even if they didn’t wind up working out their problems. “Whatever happens my parents are still my parents. You just kind of support what you can and focus on whatever you can get done.”

As the Inquisitr reported, Sharon opened up several times about the painful split when news hit in May. After taking off from work, when she was reunited with her Talk show co-hosts she admitted that the reports were true, but didn’t seem to know what the future held for she and Ozzy. While on The Talk, Osbourne broke down in tears stating the following.

“I’m 63 years of age, and I can’t keep living like this. . . I have no idea what I’m going to be doing with the rest of my life. I don’t know where I’m going, who I’m going with, and I just need time to think about myself. . . about what do I really want for the rest of my life.”

Since then, we’ve seen Ozzy Osbourne move back into his house with Sharon, as the two reportedly have tried to work through their marriage problems. As for Osbourne’s mistress, stylist Michelle Pugh, she recently started a legal battle with Ozzy and Sharon’s daughter Kelly, who has been very vocal about Ozzy’s cheating on Twitter. Kelly has lambasted Pugh and at one point even posted the stylist’s phone number on Twitter and encouraged followers to call her up. She also accused Pugh of “elder abuse.”

Pugh is currently suing Osbourne for “defamation.”

According to Pugh’s attorney, Kelly has violated California laws via Twitter. At the time lawyer F. Edie Mermelstein told People:

‘There are laws on our books addressing harm and damage to the reputation of an individual, as well as publication of a person’s private facts. In violation of California laws and Twitter rules and policies, Kelly Osbourne publicly exposed my client to hatred, contempt ridicule and disgrace.”

As for Pugh, she maintains that she and Ozzy had a connection. Of the four year affair, she said Ozzy made her feel like “the most worshiped woman in the world.”

Pugh went on to tell People magazine the following.

“When I say he gave me the greatest love of my life, I mean it. He made me feel like the most beautiful and worshipped woman in the world. [He] consistently and willingly and generously [gave me] his love.”

She went on to say, “What attracted me to him? Chemistry. We just had it. It’s that indescribable thing in life, and you can’t deny it. And he didn’t.”

As for Kelly, she hasn’t said anything on Twitter about the impending lawsuit.
