JoJo Fletcher And Jordan Rodgers Break-Up Rumors: Couple Already Fighting, Could Be Headed For An Early Split

JoJo Fletcher and Jordan Rodgers could already be headed for a break-up, with rumors that the Bachelorette couple is falling onto hard times and could be splitting up very soon.

The couple fell in love and got engaged before an audience of millions on this season of the ABC reality dating show, but sources say that united front could be crumbling behind closed doors now that the show has come to an end. While the pair are still in the midst of their post-Bachelorette publicity tour that puts on a happy front, it may not last long, insiders say.

Instead of a whirlwind romance, JoJo and Jordan have found fighting and mistrust, a source reportedly close to the couple is now claiming.

“Things are off to an OK start with JoJo and Jordan but it’s all far from perfect,” a source told Hollywood Life.

The source went on to say that the couple is excited with all the attention they’ve been getting, but “they do fight and that has JoJo very concerned.”

Some of that concern comes from Jordan’s allegedly sketchy relationship past. His ex-girlfriend, Brittany Farrar, very publicly accused Jordan of cheating on her, and during the show JoJo confronted Jordan about an ex she had run into (which JoJo later confirmed was a different woman than Farrar).

Things got so bad that Jordan publicly responded to the rumors this week.

“There’s been a lot of really harsh and very untrue allegations along the way,” Jordan said (via Us Weekly). “It’s [about] moving forward and any of that is so not true that it’s not even worth time … I’m just happy to start this new life with my fiancée and that’s what I’m focusing on.”

There had long been rumors that Jordan Rodgers wasn’t very interested in JoJo Fletcher, but instead hoped to use the publicity to kick-start his own career.

There is some evidence to support that idea. Before the Bachelorette appearance, Jordan was known mostly as the younger brother of Aaron Rodgers, a good college football quarterback at Vanderbilt who got a sniff at the NFL with time on three practice squads and a bit of national exposure when he took Russell Wilson’s side in a spat with Aaron Rodgers (details at The Big Lead, for those who are interested).

About halfway through this season of The Bachelorette, ESPN announced that Rodgers had been hired as a college football analyst for its SEC Network. While there are accusations that Jordan Rodgers wouldn’t have gotten the gig were it not for his appearance on sister network ABC, Rodgers himself said it’s just part of the normal progression of his career.

“My career doesn’t change,” Rodgers said (via Us Weekly). “I own a company that does nutrition coaching, and I’ll be doing that from Dallas as well. That company is building and growing — [it’s] something I’m passionate about. And then I’ve been doing broadcasting for the past year — doing radio for ESPN and doing some TV stuff here and there — and I’ll be working with ESPN and SEC Network as a college football analyst.”

If there is any truth to the rumor that JoJo Fletcher and Jordan Rodgers are breaking up, the couple is doing a good job keeping it under wraps. JoJo has put up a happy front on Instagram, sharing a photo of the two together on the show with the caption “Fight for the fairtytale, it does exist.” They have also been spotted in publicly looking very much in love, and are continuing to make appearances and sit down for interviews together.
