Josh Duggar Sued For Stealing DJ’s Photo For Ashley Madison & Dating Profiles

The Duggar family of 19 Kids and Counting thought that with time, son Josh Duggar could put his scandalous past behind him, but the Ashley Madison and OkCupid porn life is still very much alive, as the man whose likeness Josh Duggar used is now suing him for a form of identity fraud and stealing his image.

Matthew McCarthy is suing Josh Duggar for stealing his image for profiles on several dating sites, including the Ashley Madison cheating site. This theft by Duggar has been especially humiliating for McCarthy since Duggar started using the excuse that he cheated on his wife because he was addicted to porn.

The emergence of the details of Josh Duggar’s extramarital sex live increased the creep factor of the 19 Kids star, according to the Inquisitr. It was revealed that Josh Duggar had at least two Ashley Madison accounts, and he used his godmother’s mailing address for each account. This was damning to Duggar, as the story of incest and inter-family molestation at the hands of Josh Duggar had just hit the news. As a result of Josh Duggar’s appearance on several dating sites, including Ashley Madison, Duggar went into treatment.

But it seems that Josh Duggar is back in big trouble, as Matthew McCarthy is suing him for hijacking his image and likeness to lure in unsuspecting women, according to the Daily Mail. McCarthy says he has been humiliated by Josh Duggar’s use of his image to hunt for lovers online. McCarthy says because Duggar pretended that McCarthy’s image was indeed him, he is now getting lewd messages from all types of people on social media, who sometimes use names like “Duggar’s boy toy” and “DJ Duggar.” McCarthy works as a DJ and also as a photographer.

McCarthy says that Duggar used his image on OkCupid, Twitter, and Ashley Madison. McCarthy says that he is hoping for damages, as being embroiled in Josh Duggar’s sordid life has damaged his income.

Josh Duggar, who has admitted to going on various sites to cheat on his wife, is said to have found McCarthy’s image by Googling the search phrase “random guy.” Matthew McCarthy says that since Duggar dragged him into his sex scandal, some of his DJ gigs have been canceled.

Josh Duggar, a father of four at age 28, was outed by hackers of the Ashley Madison cheating site, whose tagline is “Life is short. Have an affair.” The email address and images used for the Ashley Madison account were also then linked to the OkCupid account. Duggar also linked the information to a fake Facebook account under the name “Joe Smithson.” Josh Duggar used this account to flirt with strippers and lingerie models.

Josh Duggar, an alleged champion of “family values,” has blamed all of his odd behavior, cheating, and acting out on an extreme porn addiction.

“I have been the biggest hypocrite ever,” he said.

Public outcry against Josh Duggar led to TLC’s cancellation of 19 Kids and Counting.

Jezebel is reporting that karma is coming back around to bite Josh Duggar in the butt, as his shady behavior will continue to be revealed to the public with lawsuits and other investigations. Matthew McCarthy, the man behind the image and the lawsuit, is additionally humiliated, as he is a Catholic and truly believes the behavior of Josh Duggar to be against his beliefs and damning to his reputation.

The New York Daily News says that this is not the first lawsuit against Josh Duggar for his involvement in the Ashley Madison cheating scandal. Porn star Danica Dillon also filed suit against Duggar who said that Josh Duggar assaulted her during a “wild sex romp” that included rough and sometimes violent sex, which Dillon says she can prove took place while Anna Duggar was pregnant. Dillon has since dropped her suit against Josh Duggar.

Matthew McCarthy has now been added to the list of victims in the wake of Josh Duggar’s deviant behavior. The Duggar family not only lost their show on TLC, but they have also not been seen together publicly since.
