What Does Heather Dubrow Really Think About Meghan King Edmonds’ Speech?

Heather Dubrow has managed to stay out of trouble on The Real Housewives of Orange County this season, as she’s not involved in the drama regarding Shannon Beador and Kelly Dodd. Heather is currently working on finishing her home in Orange County, as she’s been building it for over two years. However, in the middle of the planning and packing, Dubrow was invited to Washington, D.C., to support Meghan King Edmonds, who was invited to speak at a cancer event in the nation’s capital. Even though Meghan stumbled a bit in the beginning, she ended up finishing her speech. Now, Dubrow is opening up about her feelings, revealing exactly how she felt about Meghan’s speech.

According to a new Bravo report, Heather Dubrow is now revealing that she’s very proud of her co-star for accepting the speaking gig and going through with it. Even though her speech looked a bit rocky on The Real Housewives of Orange County, Heather explains that the speech was actually incredible, and she is very proud of her friend.

“Now back to the show…I’m so proud of Meghan and our trip to DC was incredible! The people we met, the amazing survivor stories and watching the #FightCRC team in action was a moving experience,” Heather Dubrow explains on her blog for The Real Housewives of Orange County, according to Bravo. “Meghan may have been nervous, but she pulled off an amazing motivational speech! There was a celebration that night where Meghan was honored for her work with #FightCRC and it was wonderful to be there and support her and this worthy cause.”

During the trip, Edmonds opened up to Heather about her IVF journey, saying that she felt disappointed that her husband hadn’t been as involved as she had hoped. In fact, he hadn’t gone to her doctor’s appointments with her and had often chosen to go golfing rather than go with her to her various appointments. While Dubrow was shocked at his lack of engagement, she did reveal that her husband, Terry, wasn’t exactly involved either.

Dubrow pointed out that the men don’t actually get involved until they realize that a baby is on the way. And because they can’t see the growing belly and can’t feel the pregnancy hormones that the women are going through, it can take longer for them to get excited. But Heather Dubrow pointed out that Jimmy may be more involved once the baby arrives, as he will be excited when the day comes. Luckily for Meghan, this encouraged her to keep going, even if her husband wasn’t around. And it sounds like Edmonds herself was very proud of her accomplishments in D.C.

“I couldn’t wait to share my Fight CRC speech with everyone and it definitely was not as bad as it seemed on the show. I was extremely proud of myself and the ladies from Fight CRC said that I moved a lot of people, so I feel like it couldn’t have gone better. I fight for my friend, LeAnn, who died a year ago of colon cancer, so it meant a lot for me to get her story out there and to know that I’ve made a difference in at least one other person’s life by fighting for the cause,” Meghan explains on her own blog for Bravo, revealing that she was happy to speak on this matter because of her relationship with Jimmy’s ex-wife, LeAnn, who had cancer and died last year.
