Did The Bachelorette's JoJo Fletcher just land a spot on the upcoming season of Dancing With the Stars?
With Season 23 of the dancing competition just around the corner, casting rumors are starting to run wild. If Fletcher has been cast for the show, what happened to the rumors about Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice?
Producers have not made an official casting announcement for the new season of Dancing With the Stars. However, Heavy is reporting that Fletcher recently discussed the possibility of being on the show.
"I got a chance to go to one of the live shows last season, and I was blown away with how unbelievable that show was," Fletcher said. "I think that if the opportunity came up, I would think about it because it seems like one of the coolest, most challenging things you could do. I would definitely consider it."
This wouldn't be the first time a former Bachelorette or Bachelor star has tried to take home the mirrorball trophy.
Melissa Rycroft, Chris Soules, and Jake Pavelka have all participated on Dancing With the Stars in previous seasons.
Unfortunately, Fletcher's involvement in the show has not been confirmed, though Earn the Necklace is reporting that it is pretty much a done deal.
After all, Fletcher could use something different after appearing on back to back seasons of the hit franchise. Is Dancing With the Stars a perfect change of pace for the reality star?
Of course, JoJo Fletcher might also want to spend time with her new fiancé, Jordan Rodgers, and could decline the offer to appear on the show.
Meanwhile, rumors indicate that Giudice might also join the dancing competition next season.
"I love Dancing with the Stars. It's one of my favorites," she stated. "They did ask me to be on it, but I couldn't because I was doing Housewives. I just don't know how I'm going to do that with the four kids and going to California. But I would love to be on it."
Other Housewives stars have competed on the show in past, including Nene Leakes, Kim Fields, and Kim Zolciak-Biermann, to name a few.
According to Fashion & Style, Giudice later joked that producers were not happy about her rejection.
"I think they're kind of mad at me," she said.
If Giudice changes her mind, however, she admitted that the competition would be extremely nerve-racking, especially since she has no formal training in dancing.
"No, I mean, I think we all think we can dance, but I never went to dancing school or anything, so I definitely need to be taught," she explained.
Until more information is released, it doesn't appear like Giudice is willing to sacrifice time with her family to be a part of the hit show.
Apart from Fletcher and Giudice, Parent Herald is reporting that Jordan Mauger, from Bachelor New Zealand, and Jonathan Coachman, from ESPN and WWE, might also compete for the mirrorball.
At the same time, Pitbull and Shakira are also rumored to be involved in the upcoming season, which would definitely make things interesting.
As fans will recall, Season 22 ended with Nyle DiMarco from America's Next Top Model and Peta Murgatroyd taking home the final prize.
