Josh Duggar Being Sued For Stealing Man’s Picture For Online Dating Profiles

Josh Duggar only thought that his problems were over. It has been a year since the Josh Duggar scandal came out. The star of 19 Kids and Counting spent some time in rehab and is back home with his family. Josh’s wife, Anna, stuck by his side through his entire scandal, but now Josh is dealing with another issue. TMZ shared that Josh Duggar is now being sued by the guy who says that Josh was using his picture all over dating sites to pick up women. This guy doesn’t look anything like Josh, but he was using his image to help pick up the women that he would meet.

Matthew McCarthy is really upset that Josh used his picture on several sites, including Ashley Madison. Josh met a woman on this site that he met up with to cheat on his wife while she was pregnant with their youngest daughter. Josh was using this picture on social networks as well, and now Matthew is sharing that his life has been awful since this all went down. It hasn’t been shared how Josh decided to use this picture, but it is pretty obvious why he didn’t want to use his own photo.

This picture was used on Twitter, OkCupid, and Ashley Madison. McCarthy says that he was raised in a strong-knit Catholic family and that dealing with this has been mortifying for him. Matthew says that he has even been getting harassing messages from people about it. He is being called names, and, of course, this is rough on him.

This lawsuit is to try to get money from Josh Duggar. Matthew McCarthy is suing for damages from the wrongful use of his image. The lawsuit just came out so who knows if he will win, but if he does, it may be hard to get much money out of Duggar. Josh isn’t part of a huge reality show like he used to be before the scandal went down.

Right now, Josh Duggar isn’t on their reality show at all, and it doesn’t look like he will be returning, despite rumors to the contrary. The new season of Counting On will start airing on August 23. Josh has been working selling cars, but that isn’t going to be a huge income. His wife, Anna, and his children are still on the show, though. That does mean the family has some decent income. This new season won’t focus on the Josh Duggar scandal, though. Instead, it will be about Jinger Duggar’s new courtship and engagement, plus the other siblings and how they are doing now. Jessa and Ben Seewald want to adopt, and Jill and Derick Dillard are considering having another baby very soon according to previews.

The Hollywood Gossip recently shared that Josh Duggar is just now starting to go out in public again. This might change if he is too upset about this new lawsuit. Josh was actually seen in a recent family picture. Jim Bob Duggar captioned the photo.

“It was such a joy to spend 3 days with my 10 sons and 2 of my grandsons at the 2016 EAA Oshkosh Airshow. We all love aviation and being together. Thousands of planes flew in, and hundreds of thousands of people will attend. It is amazing!”

Josh was right there along with the rest of the family having fun on the trip.
