Kylie Jenner Is Turning 19, Will Tyga Surprise Her With An Engagement Ring And Proposal?

Kylie Jenner and Tyga are going strong, but are they about to get engaged?

According to a new report, Tyga is currently planning a birthday surprise for the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star, who turns 19 on August 10, and the surprise may involve an engagement ring. Earlier this week, Tyga, 26, appeared on Hollywood Today Live with Ross Matthews, where he was questioned about his plans for his superstar girlfriend’s big day.

“Well, [Kylie Jenner] might be watching, so I can’t tell you. I know. I have an idea,” Tyga explained, according to a report by Hollywood Life on August 3.

Kylie Jenner and Tyga have been linked to one another since she was just 16 years old, but they didn’t go public with their romance until Kylie Jenner turned 18 in August of last year. Since then, Tyga has showered his girlfriend with tons of over-the-top gifts, including a Ferrari and a massive diamond ring, which she has been suspiciously wearing on her engagement ring finger for the past couple of weeks.

Is it “overwhelming to have to top a Ferrari?” Matthews asked the rapper.

“Nah. It’s really about how you feel. I mean, what do you get someone who has everything? It’s like my mom — ‘I didn’t really know what to get you, so I got you this tiger-shaped mug,’ and I’m like, well, thank you! It’s the thought that counts,” he explained.

With a reported net worth of $10 million, Kylie Jenner certainly doesn’t need much and often splurges on herself. Most recently, she purchased a one of a kind Land Rover and months prior, she debuted a red Rolls Royce. Before that, Kylie Jenner was often seen driving a Mercedes Benz G-Wagon.

Although Tyga said he didn’t know whether or not he would be gifting Kylie Jenner with yet another vehicle, he did hint at a potential birthday proposal after being asked about Jenner’s new ring.

“Is it a diamond that’s worn on that special finger that everybody’s looking at? The one she’s been posting and we all want to know is there wedding bells?” Matthews said.

“I don’t know,” Tyga teased. “We gotta see. I don’t wanna give it away.”

If Kylie Jenner does receive a birthday proposal, her brother in law, Kanye West, will reportedly be thrilled. Just weeks ago, a source claimed West was pressuring Tyga to propose to Jenner, who is the younger half-sister of his wife, Kim Kardashian.

“Kanye told Tyga he would be the biggest idiot in the world if he let [Kylie Jenner] slip away,” a source close to West revealed to Hollywood Life last month. “He explained to Tyga that good women, successful, beautiful and talented women like Kylie are hard to come by. He insisted to Tyga that Kylie would give him the world and respect him so much more if he maned the f**k up and started talking about longevity with her.”

The source continued on by claiming that if Tyga put Kylie Jenner through any more drama, Kanye wouldn’t hesitate to put an end to his career.

“Ye’ straight up told Tyga he would end his rap career and ban him from some of the most prestigious hip-hop circles if he puts Kylie through more drama,” the source explained.
