Jerry Sandusky Implicated In Child Porn Ring By Former ‘Child Prostitute’

Jerry Sandusky has been implicated in a multi-state child porn ring, an implication that could lead to additional charges and another trial for the coach who has already been convicted of 45 counts of child sexual abuse.

The man who implicated Sandusky is Greg Bucceroni, a self-described former child prostitute, who stated he was paid for sex as a teenager by former Brooklyn Poly Prep coach Phil Foglietta in 1979, reports The Daily Mail.

In a letter he sent to Poly Prep authorities this week, Bucceroni stated that he met Foglietta as a teen through Second Mile charity in Pennsylvania. Sandusky started the organization and also used it as a cover for years as a way to meet the boys he was convicted of sexually abusing.

Bucceroni told authorities that he was a child prostitute used in a pedophile ring that included Sandusky, Foglietta, the late Philadelphia businessman Ed Savita, and former Wharton School of Business professor Lawrence Scott Ward.

Foglietta, now deceased, has been accused of raping and abusing students at Poly Prep for 20 years, and Savitz was charged with sexual abuse in 1992, but he died of AIDS before his trial began. Ward is also currently in jail on charges of smuggling child porn. The New York Daily News notes that Bucceroni wrote in his letter:

“Due to time constraints, Sandusky became unavailable and I was introduced to Phil Foglietta by Ed Savitz & Jerry Sandusky. Foglietta was introduced to us as Coach Phil who coached youth football in NYC. Foglietta agreed to pay $200.00 for child sex and followed us back to a Philadelphia hotel, myself [sic] ad another child prostitute then engaged coach Phil in child sex.”

A spokeswoman for Poly Prep had no comment on Bucceroni’s email, but, in a series of interviews, the self-described former child prostitute stated that Savitz and Sandusky knew each other through Second Mile as well as political fundraising and sports events. His stepfather completed paperwork for him to be enrolled in Second Mile in 1980, but an altercation between him and Savitz prevented him from being enrolled in the program.
