Taylor Swift ‘Furious’ That Justin Bieber Abandoned Her & Selena Gomez For Team Kanye

After the war between Taylor Swift on one side versus Kanye West and Kim Kardashian (Kimye) on the other side began, Selena Gomez was quick to team up with her best friend on social media. Joining Selena and declaring his allegiance to Team Taylor was Justin Bieber, noted the Daily Beast.

But something changed to make the Biebs decide to ditch Gomez and her pal, with the pop star using Instagram to show off his choice to be true to Team Kimye rather than Selena and Taylor. The caption “Taylor Swift what up” combined with a FaceTime session between the “Sorry” singer and rapper added up to looking as if Bieber has chosen to ignore Gomez and her best friend.

When the epic battle began, Selena was notable in her quickness to reach out to her fans and followers on Twitter in defending her pal.

“There are more important things to talk about…Why can’t people use their voice for something that f*cking matters?” demanded Gomez in her Twitter message. “Truth is last thing we need right now is hate, in any form…This industry is so disappointing yet the most influential smh.”

However, Selena’s defense of her “I Knew You Were Trouble” singing friend resulted in a backlash for Gomez, with some questioning whether she was being self-righteous in defending Swift while failing to speak out on issues such as Black Lives Matter. Selena responded to those who slammed her with hostility.

“oh lol so that means if I hashtag something I save lives? No-I could give two f*cks about ‘sides.’ You don’t know what I do.”

Amid that backlash, Bieber initially seemed to side with Gomez.

“More love. Less hate,” he pleaded in a simple request that paralleled Selena’s initial stance against hate.

However, something seems to have occurred that caused the pop singer to make that vast leap from Team Gomez to West’s camp. In doing so, he ranks as the sole celebrity with the courage to change sides in that way.

As for how Taylor feels about Justin’s decision to ditch her and Selena? Swift is “furious,” according to Hollywood Life, which cites a source noting that the two have been feuding for a long time.

“Another day with Justin not liking Taylor and the feeling is more than mutual,” summed up the insider. “Taylor has always seen Justin as a jerk and whatever he does just adds to her feelings about him.”

Any possibility that Swift is planning to pen a revenge song or two about Bieber in retaliation? She has a different attitude toward the “Sorry” singer, revealed the source.

“[Taylor] feels that karma will get to [Justin] soon enough.”

But the battle between the two goes back to the first phase of Selena’s romance with Bieber, pointed out the International Business Times, which cited a source who said the pop singer knows Gomez’s best friend dislikes him.

When Taylor was questioned about her views on Bieber winning the Milestone Award at the 2013 Billboard awards, she famously requested a different question. She also made a point of sticking out her tongue when Gomez was seen kissing her then-boyfriend.

Moreover, the source also revealed that the Biebs has no desire to be Swift’s friend.

“[Justin] blames Taylor for some of his issues with Selena and that will never go away.”

He also reportedly responded to the feud with Gomez’s best buddy by writing a song entitled “All Bad.” The lyrics attacked “females” in general but are thought to have resulted from the battle.
