Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani’s inner circle are revealing that they believe the couple could be celebrating an engagement pretty soon.
Blake and Gwen’s family and friends believe that Shelton is planning on getting down on one knee in the not-too-distant future, according to a new report by People, who claimed that Blake could even propose as soon as October once Stefani’s “This Is What The Truth Feels Like Tour” wraps on October 16.
“Everyone is expecting it to happen at some point,” a source close to Gwen and Blake recently told the site of an engagement, admitting that the only reason Shelton hasn’t proposed already is because Stefani has been so focused on her tour, which kicked off in Mansfield, Massachusetts, last month.
“It seems the timing [for an engagement] just hasn’t been right,” People reported of Shelton’s proposal plans this week, but added that, despite only going public as a couple in October, 2016, Stefani and Shelton are most definitely in a very “serious relationship.”
But despite sources claiming that Gwen’s tour has gotten in the way of Shelton’s alleged proposal, the site revealed that Blake has been extremely supportive of Stefani hitting the road for the first time since her “Sweet Escape Tour” almost a decade ago, in 2007.
“Blake has been very excited for her,” an insider told the site of how Shelton has supported his love, adding that Shelton and Stefani have been “in very close touch” since Stefani’s tour began on July 12, with Blake helping Gwen through life on the road before getting engaged.
“He understands the pressure of a tour before it all kicks off, and he is Gwen’s biggest fan,” People said of Shelton.
Blake Shelton has also showed his support in person on a number of occasions during Gwen Stefani’s “This Is What The Truth Feels Like Tour,” even popping up and performing their duet, “Go Ahead And Break My Heart,” alongside his girlfriend.
A number of fans captured footage of Shelton hitting the stage with Stefani during her July 16 tour date at Veterans United Home Loans Amphitheater, Virginia Beach, Virginia, and Blake has also been spotted on the road with Gwen a number of times since, all of which Stefani’s showed off on Instagram.
Gwen most recently gave fans a glimpse of life on the road with Blake on August 2, posting a photo of herself wrapping Shelton in a tight embrace after he joined her on stage during her tour stop in Independence Township, Michigan.
Just hours earlier, Stefani also shared a snap of the two rehearsing ahead of the show, as well as uploading another sweet photo of Blake hanging out with Gwen and her tourmates backstage at DTE Energy Music Theatre.
Blake is yet to officially confirm the latest round of reports claiming that he’s planning to get engaged to Gwen in the not too distant future, but is sounds like if Blake does decide to propose to Gwen she’ll more than likely say yes.
“Gwen is very, very happy with Blake,” People‘s source said of the loved up couple amid the swirling engagement reports. “She always acts giddy when she talks about Blake.”
“Their relationship is almost too good to be true,” an insider then continued of Shelton and Stefani’s short-but-serious relationship, calling their romance of around 10 months “very special.”
“All the things that need to work out for two people to merge lives have worked out,” the Gwen and Blake source added.
Do you think Blake Shelton will propose to Gwen Stefani soon once her tour wraps next month?
