Drake & Rihanna Confirm They’re Dating Again, Make Big ‘Baby’ Confessions [Video]
Drake and Rihanna appear to be confirming they’re officially dating again.
Rihanna and Drake got seriously close amid recent reports claiming they’ve rekindled their romance during an appearance at OVO Fest in Toronto, Canada, this week, where there was a whole lot of baby talk going on.
Fan footage shows Rihanna referring to Drake as “baby” during their performance. Video from the concert also shows Drake admitting to the crowd that he’s ready to have a baby with the singer.
Drake hinted that he’s ready to get pretty serious with Rihanna as the two performed their duet “Too Close” at the Canadian festival, telling the audience that he wants to “go half on a baby” with Rihanna.

Capital Xtra reported that Drake made the seriously candid confession about a future with Rihanna after inviting the singer to perform with him for the second night in a row after Rihanna flew from Paris, France, to surprise the rapper at the show.
Footage from the concert uploaded to YouTube by a fan shows that before the two performed “Too Close,” Drake told Rihanna on the Toronto stage, “You showed up two nights in a row for my city, you might have to go halves on a baby.”
Drake then continued to gush over the star, referring to her as the “greatest entertainer in the world” and admitting that she was “looking good too.”
Other fan-captured footage also showed Rihanna referring to Drake as “baby” during their performance, marking the first time she has publicly acknowledged the twosome’s alleged reconciliation.
“It’s a pleasure to be here with you tonight,” Rihanna told the Canadian crowd during a performance of “Work” before turning to Drake and adding, “and you, baby.”
Drake then took to Instagram following the performance to share seriously cozy snaps of himself and Rihanna on stage.
One black-and-white shot showed Drake with his hands on Rihanna’s butt alongside a balloon emoji, while another photo showed Drake wrapping Rihanna in a tight hug following their performance.
Fans were quick to take to social media to share their feelings about the couple following Rihanna and Drake’s very public declaration of love, speculating that things are getting serious between the two after People confirmed last month that the couple had been “secretly dating for months.”
“Drake and Rihanna gonna have a baby next I’m callin it,” Twitter user @5MQQK wrote of Drake and Rihanna’s on stage love fest, while @greedyforH wrote on the social media site, “I’M STILL NOT OVER RIHANNA CALLING DRAKE BABY.”
But before fans get too excited about Drake and Rihanna getting serious and settling down, E! News is claiming that Rihanna is still reluctant to make Drake her one and only despite their months of dating.
“Drake would make her his girlfriend in a second if he could,” an insider close to the couple revealed, claiming that “it’s more on Rihanna” to make a commitment and make Drake her boyfriend.
“They both care about each other and are having a good time spending time with each other,” E! News’s source added about the twosome’s dating life. “Drake has expressed to Rihanna that he only wants to date her and only her, but she wants to take day by day this time around.”
But while Rihanna is allegedly a little reluctant to settle down right now and give up the dating game, that doesn’t mean she won’t come around to publicly referring to Drake as her official boyfriend in the not too distant future.
“Things are great though and their connection is really strong,” E! News’ insider alleged of how Drake and Rihanna’s relationship is going this time around, seven years after they were first alleged to have begun their on-and-off relationship.
“Things are progressing nicely,” the insider added weeks after it was revealed that the two are dating again.
The latest Rihanna and Drake relationship update comes just weeks after the site officially confirmed that the two were dating again after they were seen getting close during a trip to the U.K.
“[Drake] still loves [Rihanna] and never stopped,” E! News reported last month, confirming the dating reports. “They are having fun spending time with each other.”
