Chad Johnson Says JoJo Fletcher And Jordan Rodgers Will Never Last, Weighs In On His Messy ‘Bachelor In Paradise’ Debut

Chad Johnson descended upon Bachelor in Paradise like a hurricane, and he may be soon sent out to sea. But The Bachelorette bad boy still has plenty to say about the reality TV franchise that has kept him in the headlines. In an interview with Extra, Chad said Bachelorette star JoJo Fletcher and her new fiancé Jordan Rodgers will never make it to the altar.

“We’ll see how long that lasts,” Johnson said of the newly engaged couple. “It will last until the money dies off, then it will fizzle out.”

Chad went on to point out that Rodgers’ ex-girlfriend, Brittany Farrar, already accused him of not signing on to the ABC reality show for the right reasons.

“Even his ex-girlfriend said he was just looking for fame,” Johnson said. “Everything out of the guy’s mouth was just what he thought would sound good on camera.”

Chad Johnson had the opposite mantra during his stints on The Bachelorette and Bachelor in Paradise. Johnson said whatever came to mind, and he never filtered himself for the cameras. But while he was polarizing on The Bachelorette, Johnson took things to a new level on the spinoff show.

For his debut on Paradise, Chad Johnson got extremely drunk and offended all of the other cast members and crew. He called several of the female cast members names and drove them to tears (at his lowest point he taunted fan favorite Sarah Herron by calling her a “one-armed b***h), got into fights with several of the other males, and threatened to “murder” the other contestants.

Chad ultimately passed out on the beach, reportedly soiling himself. The morning after, ABC mainstay Chris Harrison asked Chad to leave, and the 28-year-old luxury real estate agent angrily lashed out at the ABC host, accusing him of trying to make him look bad.

In an interview with 9 News, Chad Johnson said he regrets his behavior on the summertime spinoff, which was taped earlier this summer in Playa Escondido, Mexico.

“I regret everything that day,” Chad said. “But you can’t take it back, so whatever. That’s the way it goes.”

While he doesn’t take pride in the fact that millions of viewers now know that he soiled his own swimsuit, he is trying to look at the bright side of his reality TV fame.

“Now everyone is going to know the worst possible scenario with me,” Johnson said. “I have already gotten that out of the way with the entire world. So, everything is uphill from here.”

Chad also revealed that he feels bad about how he treated cast-mates Lace Morris and Sarah Herron. Herron was born with a birth defect and only has the upper part of her arm. Unfortunately, Chad called her “Army McArmison.”

“I made a joke about Sarah, and I do feel really bad about that,” Johnson admitted. “I am sorry to them for saying the things I shouldn’t have said.”

Of his alcohol-fueled reign of terror, Chad explained that Paradise was “the absolute, most ridiculous you could ever expect from me.” Johnson also said he has always had a “terrible sense of humor” and that ever since his mother’s death a few months before he signed on to The Bachelorette, he lashes out “in certain ways than I shouldn’t.”

While ABC has embraced the yam-eating protein lover by giving him a lot of air time, Chad Johnson is certain he would never be asked to star as The Bachelor because he’s too controversial. But he also made it clear that he didn’t do the Paradise in an attempt to redeem himself for his actions on The Bachelorette.

“It made me look bad, but at the same time I did all of those things [and] I’d still do it over the same way,” Chad told Extra.

So, what will Chad Johnson do next? For one, Chad told Entertainment Tonight he is planning to move to Los Angeles.

“I don’t know what I am doing,” Chad said. ” I am going to keep doing my job, keep working, keep selling real estate, keep day trading, keep doing whatever — when people call me and say, ‘Hey we want you to be on camera,’ I will say ‘Alright.'”

And if one of those offers to appear on camera includes Dancing with the Stars, Chad probably wouldn’t rule it out.

“I am the greatest dancer there ever was,” Johnson told ET.
