Rob Kardashian: Getting Back In Front Of Cameras, Shooting ‘Rob & Chyna’ Has Been Difficult For Star, Source Claims

Years ago, Rob Kardashian made the conscious decision to disappear from the limelight, reportedly in an effort to deal with issues caused by his depression and his ballooning weight.

And jumping back into the spotlight? Well, that hasn’t exactly been easy for the only Kardashian brother. In fact, an unnamed source for People magazine said that Rob’s stress from shooting Rob & Chyna scenes indirectly led to the couple’s brief breakup. Fans and media outlets were alerted to the troubles between Rob Kardashian and his fiancée, Black Chyna, on July 25 after Rob deleted all photos of Blac and unfollowed her on Instagram.

But according to reports, the breakup only lasted a few hours. The root cause of the split, the unnamed source told People, was Rob Kardashian’s emotional state.

“Rob just got super emotional and felt too overwhelmed. He lashed out from being frustrated, and they broke things off while they were filming,” the People source said. “They got back together hours later.”

The source went on to talk about how difficult it has been for Rob to return to the limelight after several years living a reclusive lifestyle.

“Getting back in front of the cameras has been hard on Rob as he hasn’t been doing anything for a really long time now. Being in the limelight all of a sudden again is a big deal for him. He’s working on himself and getting re-adjusted and taking things one step at a time, but things are definitely on the upswing for them.”

Upswing, indeed. Rob and Blac Chyna have several exciting things going on in their lives, including an expected baby, an impending wedding, and, of course, their own six-episode reality series. Additionally, Rob and Chyna are expected to shoot a special all about the birth of their child.

Kardashian and Blac Chyna first went public with their relationship back in January, causing the Kardashian-Jenner family to reportedly go into a tailspin. Just months later, Rob and Blac announced their engagement, and soon after announced that they were having a baby.

Prior to Rob’s relationship with the former exotic dancer, Blac Chyna wasn’t exactly friendly with Rob’s sisters. In fact, Blac Chyna and Rob’s youngest sister, Kylie Jenner, could have been considered flat-out enemies. Before she was engaged to Rob, Blac was engaged to Tyga — who now happens to be Kylie Jenner’s boyfriend. Blac and Tyga have a 3-year-old son together, and before she began dating Rob, Chyna frequently trolled Kylie on Instagram, Twitter, and the like.

Kylie and Blac have since reportedly buried the hatchet and called a truce, even going so far as to post photos of themselves together on Instagram.

And while the Kardashian-Jenner sisters were less than thrilled to find out about Rob’s engagement via the internet, it seems as if, at least publicly, the Kardashians have pulled together to support Rob and Chyna. Babies have a way of doing that, and nearly all of the Kardashian-Jenner clan have expressed excitement at Rob and Blac’s impending arrival.

That excitement, of course, starts with Rob and Blac Chyna, who are thrilled about the baby, according to the unnamed People source. Rob is so excited to become a father, in fact, that the source believes it would take something catastrophic for Rob and Chyna to break up.

“They are both very excited about the baby,it’s hard to see Rob and Chyna actually splitting. Rob is looking forward to becoming a dad. It would take a lot for him to break up with her.”
