Nick Cannon Not A Fan Of Kim Kardashian? Comedian Sides With Taylor, Talks Split From Mariah

Nick Cannon stopped by Maxim’s 100 party over the weekend and was sure to chat with the media about who he’s siding with in the feud between Taylor Swift and Kanye West, which now involves Kanye’s wife, reality star Kim Kardashian.

E! News reports on the response Cannon had to the question about who might win a rap battle between Swift and Kardashian. The America’s Got Talent host had no problem making his decision, sharing that Taylor Swift has got his vote.

“I’m going to go Taylor all day!” he laughed. “Just in that department.”

When it comes to the vocal talent between Swift and Kardashian, Nick said it was no contest; however, this doesn’t mean the star sides with the “Bad Blood” singer on all fronts in the feud. The tougher choice is deciding who to side with about the actual issue involving the “Famous” track since Kim recently shared a recording of Swift giving the go-ahead for Kanye to use lyrics about her.

E! explains the drama in a short summary of events.

“In case you missed the drama that’s unraveled between the famous ladies, ‘Ye released the song “Famous” earlier this year, which includes a line that reads, ‘I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex/ Why? I made that b–ch famous.’ Taylor said she had no knowledge of the song ahead of time, and thus, dedicated a majority of her Grammy-winning speech to calling Kanye out. However, last month, Kim came forward and shared a recording of the singer discussing the song with the rapper and even giving him the go-ahead to release it.”

With the latest turn of events making Taylor look a little less than her perfect self, it’s difficult to fully side with the songstress on this issue when the evidence clearly points to her giving full consent.

As for Nick Cannon, he can comment on drama and can admit that he and Mariah Carey have struggled to keep from letting any drama ruin their relationship following their 2014 split. Although the former couple claims that they keep things amicable for the sake of their twin children, 5-year-olds Moroccan and Monroe, Cannon has stated that the new situation is tough.

When visiting The Howard Stern Show last month, Cannon noted how difficult it is to have to share time with his children, especially when it’s referred to as “visitation.”

Fox News shares the star’s words on the subject.

“It’s kind of f–ked up when time with your kids is considered visitations. It’s unfair to the fathers in the situation. I’m just keeping it real…That’s pain, right there.”

Despite that pain, however, he and Mariah are working it all out, even while Carey is attempting to plan a wedding to her new beau, billionaire James Packer.

The diva recently spoke about her own pain regarding the split from Cannon.

“I never thought I would have babies with someone and then get divorced.”

Cannon admitted that he feels similarly to his ex on the subject yet reiterates that they are doing the best that they can with their new situation.

“I think we have the same sentiments when it comes to that. We’re working it out, and it’s the best it possibly could be.”

Nick went on to remind people that he has nothing but love for Mariah and wishes her the best in her new relationship and future marriage to Packer.

“My ex and I are in a great place and are diligently moving things along so we both can continue to be happy. I am happy for her and all her new endeavors, both personal ones and professional ones.”
