Meghan King Edmonds Opens Up About Emotional ‘RHOC’ Journey With Cancer And Baby

Meghan King Edmonds is known for being an outspoken woman who will do and say just about anything that’s on her mind to prove her side of the story. Last year on The Real Housewives of Orange County, Meghan was very firm in proving that Brooks Ayers may have lied about having cancer. Edmonds was upset with Brooks for lying about various things, as she knew people who were fighting for their lives and she didn’t appreciate him lying about such a serious illness. And while some fans may have thought that Edmonds was too aggressive with Vicki Gunvalson, she just wanted to find out the truth. These days, Meghan and Vicki aren’t really on friendly terms.

According to a new Bravo report, Meghan King Edmonds is now revealing that even she needs to distance herself from the drama in Orange County. This year, Kelly Dodd has joined the cast, and she’s already stirring up some trouble on the show. Last week, the girls got into a screaming match at Shannon Beador’s party, and Edmonds wanted to focus on some important things in her life. And on this week’s episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County, Meghan King Edmonds decided to focus on her IVF journey and speaking at a cancer event.

“This episode was a big one for me, between my egg retrieval and my Fight CRC speech in DC. I have to say, after last week’s ’70s party, it was refreshing to get away from the drama for a little and focus on some of the major, important things going on in my life,” Meghan King Edmonds reveals on her blog for Bravo, sharing that she enjoyed stepping away from the drama for a few minutes.

Of course, Edmonds made headlines last year because of her fight to prove that Brooks Ayers was lying about cancer. And Meghan was very passionate about the cause, because Jimmy’s ex-wife LeAnn Edmonds was fighting for her life. She passed away from cancer when The Real Housewives of Orange County was airing last year.

“I couldn’t wait to share my Fight CRC speech with everyone and it definitely was not as bad as it seemed on the show. I was extremely proud of myself and the ladies from Fight CRC said that I moved a lot of people, so I feel like it couldn’t have gone better,” Meghan King Edmonds reveals on her Bravo blog, adding that she is very thankful for the opportunity to speak at the event.

But King Edmonds didn’t attend the event alone. She decided to invite Heather Dubrow with her, so she had a support system throughout the trip. And Meghan clearly wanted to talk to someone about Jimmy’s lack of engagement in the IVF journey.

“It was also great to have Heather by my side to support me – not only was it nice to have her there for the support, but it was nice to have some drama free girl time. Talking to Heather at dinner about my IVF journey and how Jimmy hasn’t been as involved as I’d like was really helpful and it’s nice that she understands what I’m going through to an extent,” Meghan King Edmonds reveals on her Bravo blog.

According to Bustle, Meghan is quite excited to become a mother, and she’s been posting pictures of her baby bump on social media. Even though Jimmy didn’t seem too excited about the IVF journey, Heather reassured her that he would change when the baby comes.
