Ben Higgins And Lauren Bushnell Of ‘The Bachelor’ Share Updates, Tease Big Events Ahead

Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell fell in love last winter on ABC’s The Bachelor 2016 season. The two got engaged during the finale and are now working on putting together their own spin-off show. Is there a wedding in the works for Ben and Lauren or are the two running into some trouble now that they are living in the real world?

These Bachelor lovebirds recently announced that they would be getting their own show this fall on the Freeform network, the channel previously known as ABC Family. Ben and Lauren: Happily Ever After will debut in October and will follow Higgins and Bushnell as they embrace their life together living in Colorado. Shortly after the finale of their season, Bushnell moved to the Denver area to be with him, and they seem to be doing well.

Ben and Lauren have frequently talked about wanting to get married sooner rather than later, but so far, they have not revealed an actual wedding date. However, Higgins and Bushnell have said that their new post-Bachelor show will feature some of their wedding planning and the two did recently hold an engagement party in her hometown of Portland, Oregon. Many Bachelor fans are buzzing over the idea that the finale of Ben and Lauren: Happily Ever After may feature a televised wedding, but at this point, that is just speculation.

Filming for the new show is taking place now and Higgins and Bushnell are embracing a lot of fun opportunities. In addition to their engagement party in Oregon, they spent the Fourth of July holiday back in his hometown of Warsaw, Indiana and they had some fun times at the Colorado Renaissance Festival this past weekend. These Bachelor stars have done plenty of traveling and they have embraced simple things like date nights and home and yard updates at their house outside Denver.

As is the case with every Bachelor and Bachelorette couple, Ben and Lauren have faced some rumors about the state of their relationship, despite seemingly being a very solid pair. Higgins has gone back to the job he had before filming and while Bushnell does still seem to do some work for Alaska Airlines, she has also shared that she will be launching her own blog soon. In addition, the two do travel for various appearances and charity events.

Will Higgins and Bushnell end up walking down the aisle? If so, will it be a part of Ben and Lauren: Happily Ever After? It certainly would appear that these Bachelor lovebirds are headed toward a wedding date relatively soon and it usually does not take long for specifics to emerge once a date has been picked.

ABC chose not to air Desiree Hartsock’s wedding to Chris Siegfried, and they incorporated Jade Roper’s wedding to Tanner Tolbert into a special celebrating the franchise as a whole. However, given the popularity of this Bachelor duo, it does look like Ben and Lauren may get a bigger feature on the network, or the sister Freeform network, for their big day.

Does Bachelorette star JoJo Fletcher find the same kind of happily ever after on her season of The Bachelorette? Rumors are swirling about the outcome of her season and answers are about to be revealed.

As for Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell, things seem to be going quite well for these Bachelor lovebirds and fans are chomping at the bit to get a confirmation regarding an upcoming wedding date. Could Ben and Lauren even end up hitched before the end of the year as they have previously teased and fans are beginning to suspect?
