Brad Pitt And Angelina Jolie Won’t Adopt A Seventh Child

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie may have recently saved their marriage, but that doesn’t mean they are ready to expand their family.

Last month, a report hit the web, claiming that after saving their allegedly failing marriage, Brad Pitt and his 41-year-old actress wife, Jolie, had decided to adopt a seventh child from South Africa, Burundi or Ethiopia, where they adopted their 11-year-old daughter, Zahara. However, according to a new report, they have no plans to adopt, nor did their marriage need saving.

On July 30, Yibada set the record straight regarding the recent rumors, claiming Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie will keep their kid count at six. According to the report, Gossip Cop recently denied rumors of an impending adoption and past marriage troubles.

A “friend of the couple” reportedly told OK! Magazine, via Gossip Cop, that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie had “fought their way back from the brink of divorce” and are now “celebrating saving their marriage with the best present possible: a seventh child.”

“Now that the divorce is off and they’re back on track, they feel adopting another child will strengthen their relationship even more,” the source incorrectly alleged, adding that the famous couple wanted to “adopt an older child” because they “believe that adopting an older child will make people aware of orphans who are often overlooked.”

The OK! Magazine source also claimed that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s children, including 14-year-old Maddox, whom they adopted from Cambodia, 12-year old Pax from Vietnam, and 11-year-old Zahara from Ethiopia, were thrilled with the news of the allegedly expanding family and couldn’t wait to meet their new brother or sister.

Another source spoke to In Touch Weekly.

“[Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie] believe that adopting an older child will make people aware of orphans who are often overlooked,” a friend explained. “According to Angie, everybody seems to want to adopt babies when there are so many other wonderful, worthy and deserving older children out there. They feel that by adopting a child who is 10 or older, he or she will mix in better with their rambunctious kids, who are getting bigger by the day.”

In addition to their three adopted children, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are also parents to three biological children, daughter Shiloh, 10, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 8.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s relationship began over a decade ago on the set of Mr. & Mrs. Smith and made its world debut in 2005, just one month after Pitt’s then-wife, Jennifer Aniston, filed for divorce. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie faced tons of backlash at the start of their relationship due to its alleged overlap with Pitt’s marriage to Aniston, but eventually, the criticism died down and in August 2014, the couple tied the knot at their home in France, Chateau Miraval.

In recent months, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have faced numerous rumors regarding their potential divorce, but in July, the couple arrived in Los Angeles and began making appearances around town, which seemingly disproved any reports of marital tension.

During an outing in early July, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were seen grocery shopping with a couple of their kids in Los Angeles and days later, they enjoyed a pancake breakfast in celebration of their twins’ eighth birthday at The Griddle Cafe in West Hollywood, California. They were also seen showcasing their love for one another with some clear PDA at a smoothie bar.
