American Little Mix fans might have felt a little bit let down when Wishmaker was released, but the opportunity to get a whiff of their fourth album is a possibility at the V Festival.
Little Mix has dropped their past three albums in November, and this has fans counting down the days. On Twitter on July 28, Little Mix teased fans that “new music was on the way” and that it would be “worth it.” There is also a hashtag trending in the Little Mix fan world for #LM4.
Little Mix quit touring on July 3 in Cork, Ireland, and since then, they have been vacationing or allegedly working on a new album. Their next concert is expected to be the V Festival on August 20 in Essex and August 21 in Staffordshire with another concert on August 27 in Cambridge.
For example, Little Mix has toured the U.K. twice in the past year, and fans may want new material. On top of this, there are a lot of expectations at the V Fest for Little Mix because it will be Justin Bieber’s only U.K. concert date. Justin Bieber will also be using V Fest as his sneak peek for his upcoming Purpose Tour, according to Telegraph.
So far, it looks like Little Mix is in good shape to provide a sneak peek to album four at V Festival because they teased about having new material when they launched their new perfume Wishmaker on July 27.
In a fan video from the Wishmaker launch, Leigh-Anne Pinnock says she thinks Little Mix has “a few hits” up their sleeves.
The day before, on July 26, Little Mix dropped on Twitter that Jade Thirlwall and Jesy Nelson were in the studio working with Digi Farm Animals and Emily Warren on songwriting.
Sugarscape adds to this and says that fans are speculating that working with Digi Farm Animals might imply that DJ Snake is working on Little Mix’s next album.
In the meantime, what is real is that, in addition to American fans getting dissed for a 2016 Little Mix tour, as previously reported by the Inquisitr, they are also being denied a chance to smell their new perfume.
Unfortunately, Little Mix’s specific page for Wishmaker also contains language such as “U.K. mainland delivery only.”
While the Little Mix launch was at Boots, the Wishmaker perfume is not currently available on the Boots U.S. website. When Americans attempted to order Wishmaker from the Boots U.K. website on July 31, it automatically responds with the following.
“We are only able to deliver to U.K. addresses… Unfortunately we cannot deliver to any other countries outside of the U.K. including Eire, U.S.A., Canada or mainland Europe.”
Sadly, this also means that American Little Mix fans are missing out on the cute pair of turquoise socks that come free with every purchase of Wishmaker.
U.K. fans were also the only ones offered bottles of Wishmaker that were signed by Little Mix. Buying a signed bottle of Wishmaker also put U.K. fans in the running to meet Little Mix at the U.K. launch at Boots on July 27.
Nevertheless, like Little Mix’s first fragrance Gold Magic, their new Wishmaker will likely be available to American shoppers eventually through retailers that ship to the United States such as Escentual. Like Gold Magic, Little Mix’s new fragrance is priced at about $27 in the U.K.
