‘Once Upon A Time’ Season 6: Belle Will Be More Confident And Independent — Will She Dump Rumple? [Spoilers]

Once Upon A Time will return with new episodes this fall. What can fans expect when Season 6 of OUAT airs? New spoilers have been released and this time, it has nothing to do with Regina or the Evil Queen. It turns out there is some juicy information regarding Belle.

OUAT Season 6 spoilers are ahead. If you do not want to know what to expect when the fairy tale series returns to ABC network, then do not read past this point.

Last season on Once Upon A Time, Belle (Emilie de Ravin) fell into a sleep curse. The couple known as “Rumbelle” also found out they were expecting a baby. When Belle wakes up, will she once again forgive Rumple (Robert Carlyle)? Before Comic-Con 2016, a lot of fans thought she would. However, Entertainment Weekly reported some changes are coming up for the OUAT character.

The Once Upon A Time spoiler report revealed that Belle’s pregnancy changes things. It’s not just Belle and Rumple anymore. Soon, there will be an innocent baby that will be affected by their behavior and decisions. The pregnancy is making de Ravin’s character think about her situation a little differently.

“Now that she’s pregnant, and now that she knows that it’s not really just about her anymore, she has to take responsibility for this other little person,” Emilie de Ravin told EW. “That’s making her head spin a little bit with regard to, ‘Okay, I can spend my life trying to fix this person, whether it’s for me or for him, but if it’s affecting someone else now, it’s a game changer.’ It puts a little bit of spanner in the works for their marriage for a bit.”

The Once Upon A Time actress teased that there will be some alone time in Season 6. She also said that Belle will become more confident and independent. This is something that fans have been waiting a long time for. Even “Rumbelle” shippers have to admit that these changes will be a good thing for Belle, whether she gets back together with Rumple or not.

It definitely sounds like Rumple could lose Belle in Season 6 of Once Upon A Time. Carter Matt speculated that Belle’s new independence and confidence could make Rumple try harder. However, the website also admitted that Robert Carlyle’s character isn’t one known for his positive changes. Most likely, he will probably try other methods to win Belle back without having to change at all. If this happens, will Emilie’s character fall for it or will Belle stick to her guns?

Other Once Upon A Time Season 6 spoilers from Entertainment Weekly include how Belle gets out of the box.

“The way she is extracted, how it happens and the characters that are involved is really cool,” de Ravin teased, “and it reveals a lot about her relationship and her past/future.”

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, one of the new characters in Season 6 is Morpheus, the Greek god of dreams. He will interact with Belle while she is under the sleeping curse. However, Morpheus will also have some scenes with Rumple, which should be interesting.

Also, expect to see Jafar, Aladdin, and Jasmine when Once Upon A Time returns. Fans will learn more about the characters from the Land Of Untold Stories. Besides new characters, some old ones will be returning to Storybrooke. A few of those are Cinderella and Dr. Archie Hopper.
